The small ferry cruises the waters around the Cliffs of Moher. It's not for anyone who gets even a little seasick. The waves are rough in August. However, it's a great way to get a different perspective of the cliffs from the bottom up and it shouldn't be missed.

A great way to see the coastline of Ireland and visit the ARAN ISLANDS. Kids will love it. The ferry does stop at all the islands.

The ferry was basic, tossing around on the waves when crossing a windy and rough sea. We were to return via Cliffs of Moher Cruise but when boat arrived, there was only a few of us. Staff told us they'd cancelled the Cruise due to bad weather, and denied our boarding and left us there ! The next return ferry... More

Myself and my sister took the ferry over to Inis Oirr on Saturday the 23rd of August, 2014. We arrived late for our 11.00 sailing and the crew managed to get us and some other late travellers onto another small boat out to a waiting ferry that took us out to the Island. They were absolutely fabulous and so helpful.... More

We opted for the day on Inis Oirr and the Cliffs of Moher trip on the return journey. Great service and lovely smooth trip on the way over. Sea was a bit rougher on the return but nothing serious. Having seen the cliffs from the sea I reckon it's the only way to view them. Absolutely magnificent views from the... More

We were told the water is like glass. Not really 4 foot waves on the way to the Cliff of Moher. 1/2 hour to the cliffs and 1/2 back. We actually stopped for about a minute. Great view. If there is an explanation going on you cannot hear it if you are on the top deck of the boat. 20eu... More

I just did the Cliffs of Moher Cruise today and I am dissapointed with this company. First, it is said on the leaflet that commentaries are told during the cruise, this never happened! All in all, I think this cruise is completely overpriced, for a little-more-than-45 minutes cruise in an old boat. Eventhough it is said that nobody should throw... More

An excellent day out and first class service from the staff in returning my phone which I had left out on the Island. I would definitely recommend them especially groups..

Hello Maurice421 Thank you very much for your great review. That is sound advice about getting in line, it is very important to join the queue and follow the staff instructions on especially during peak season. I am delighted you enjoyed your day on the island, we might see you back again for another trip! Kind regards, Joan More

What fun taking the Doolin Ferry to the smallest of the Aran Islands than a return tour of the Cliffs of Moher! This is one attraction you DO NOT want to miss. The Cliffs of Moher on board Donie Garrihy's ferry was amazing! The music that accompanied the history of this incredible cliff site takes one back to days of... More

Hi CathyAnnU What a great review, thank you for taking the time to post it. The music played on the Cliffs cruise was written by a local musician, Peadar Reilly, he will be delighted you enjoyed it! Donie is a director of Doolin2Aran Ferries, and he does his utmost to make sure each and every passenger gets full information about... More
