I've travelled to the Aran Islands last July using Doolin 2 Aran ferries and it was a pleasure to travel with them. I have a disability which made me wary regarding getting on and off the ferry, but the staff were very reassuring and couldn't do enough for me. Really made the whole trip enjoyable and can't thank them enough.... More

We were showing friends around Ireland & of course had to include Cliffs of Moher..... we decided to do it by boat & chose Doolin2Aran Ferries.....it was a good decision....nice day.... excellent views of the cliffs without having to wrestle with the massive crowds, car parking & long walking for our elderly visitors. We had been to the cliffs several... More

We used the Ferry to go to the Aran Islands- Inis Oirr. first. Our trip out in the am was fine- space to sit and reliable ferry to the islands. We did not rent a bike or a jaunting car, but we still had plenty of time to walk around and see the sites. At the end, we even found... More

Finding a reliable ferry service was a dog-eat-dog environment and I was wearing Milk-Bone underwear! Seriously, those guys were as cutthroat as the hucksters in a Mexican street fair. But we survived, actually got on the right boat and had a good time at the Aran Islands. The return trip across the Cliffs of Moher was majestic and awe-inspiring. All... More

Very irritating to go to Doolin to catch the ferry according to the schedule shown on the website and then find the service is not running until the next spring. this is false advertising. For a GOOD trip to the Aran Islands, take the ferry from Rossaveal, west of Galway Cityy.

Dear Vanessa, thank you for taking the time to post a review, I am sorry that you were disappointed to find there was no sailing. The weather has been extremely poor for the past week, and unfortunately we had to make the decision to finish sailing due to unsuitable conditions. Our website has now been updated to notify our passengers... More

The quality of a business lies in the character of the people who work there. Donie Garrihy is a man of enormous character; therefore it is with pride I very highly recommend Doolin2Aran Ferries to anyone wanting an exhilarating view of the Cliffs of Moher from an ocean view or a tour to the Aran Islands. Months prior to my... More

Rode on the ferry from Doolin to Inis Mor (the largest and farthest out of the 3 Aran Islands) and back. Takes about 1-1/2 hours with stops on each of the other 2 islands each way. Our boat (the Happy Hooker (that is pronounced 'Hoo Ker' )) was certainly no fancy but very clean and very well handled by the... More

We wanted to do the cliffs of moher or Aran islands tour because we only had one day and found this combination trip. Reasonable price, lovely boat trip, enough time on the island (inisheer) and great to see the cliffs of moher from the water. Would recommend, great day trip. Only thing that was a bit annoying was a wait... More

We found this combination ferry trip at the Tourist office in Ennis. Took the ferry from scenic Doolin to the Aran Island, Inis Oirr. We had a fantastic horse drawn tour of the island, our guide was so informative! The island was fabulous, then the trip got even better, when we ferried to the Cliffs of Moher! The second part... we took the combination trip to the small island/views of the cliffs from below...highly recommended. we got down to the pier early, but realized before we boarded that i'd left my camera battery in our cottage. we ran to ask if we had time to get back before the boat departed...and we POSSIBLY would have (driving the terrified-American way it...
