I took this ferry on two consecutive days; once to see the Cliffs of Moher from the water (the best way to really appreciate their beauty) and the next day to the isle of Inisheer to spend the day exploring. I was struck by the staff, who treated me so well from the moment I arrived. Doney pulled me aside... More

We got our tickets at the pier from Joan. Very friendly and funny guy. He showed us where to go and what to do. The trip was only 10 minutes delay. After a short time on the sea we had a quick return to pick up some other passengers. The sea was really rough that day and everyone on the... More

Took a trip out to see the Cliffs from the boat. Little choppy but not too bad if you're not prone to motion sickness. Large crowd of people pushed on ahead which left no seats in the out side viewing area. Stood for the whole trip to get pictures. Make sure you push to the front to get a good... More

My original trip was cancelled due to foul weather. The next day the staff quickly accommodated my schedule and allowed me to jump on board. Even though the seas were still a bit rough the captain was able to navigate the swells to minimize rocking. I was able to get lovely pictures of O'Brien's castle from the boat. The departure... We had booked a trip for 4 and had decided that only two of us needed to go since the other two had already taken this trip two years earlier. We were planning on holding down a table at Gus O'Connor's for the music that evening because we were under the impression they don't do reservations. Chris, on of the... More

Nice boat trip. I think the best way to see the cliffs. Audio commentary is really poor. Even when standing next to a speaker.

We truly thought we were going to capsize. Water washing over the back of the boar, people getting sick, even the crew looked a bit concerned. The Aran Islands are worth a visit, but take care what the weather is like when you go. We went on a sunny day, but it was so windy the seas were choppy -... More

This was a great experience, Aran Ireland was interesting, beautiful and provided a wide range of great walks/places to eat. The island itself is very historic and we learnt a lot. However, the ferry was late and took a long time to return to Doolin after the Aran trip meaning we were not able to complete the cliffs of moor... More

The ferry service provided a very convenient time of travel and amount of time at Inisheer Island. The tour of the Cliffs of Moher (from the water) on the way home was a different and interesting way of seeing the cliffs

Ferry was reasonably priced, and gave ample time to visit the islands, and gave a great view of the Cliffs. Be warned, however, that the ferries often leave EARLY - best to arrive at least 30 minutes before the published departure. The staff are competent and friendly.
