We took this cruise to see a different perspective of the cliffs. We were glad that we did but the ferries packed too many people in the boat (like sardines in a can). So unless you were first on you could not get a favorable view or comfortable location on the boat. Make sure you get there about 20 mins... More

The boats were fine and the trip to Inish Mor is fantastic. But I booked a ticket such that the return was supposed to go to the cliffs before returning to Doolin. They arrived at Inish Mor nearly 1/2 late for the pickup. They had no one on the island to let us know when they would be there. So... More

Don't book ahead because of the weather. A small boat, crossing rather bumpy, but friendly and helpful crew. When you get there, you can ride round in a horse and trap; a couple of hours may be enough. Alternatively an overnight stay would be interesting, book a B&B - or there is a campsite.

Our experience with Doolin 2 Aran Ferries was very positive: a few days before the tour we booked from website the day trip to Inis Oirr Island & Cruise Cliffs, we presented ourselves at the port well in advance and we left with the ferry to previous the one we booked. Beautiful trip ..... not to be missed !!!!

Very happy with this company and they where good value, we arrived to the pier and they called the boat back which had just left the pier to bring us to Innis Oirr. We had the entire boat trip to ourselves.

We did NOT purchase tickets in advance....if you just go to the pier the different ferry's are all competing for business. You will get the best price that way.

Boat on the small side, but what more do you need for such a short trip. Very enjoyable friendly crew. Will do it again.

Our experience with 'Doolin 2 Aran Ferries' was very positive. The boat arrive on time and the crew was very kind and helpful - e.g. loaded our bikes on the boat.

Got my ticket in Doolin. Believe it could've been cheaper if I bartered at pier but wasn't sure. Very busy and a little disorganised/unprepared to deal with the crowd. Ended up with 4 ferries in total, we ended up on the 4th which delayed departure by approx 1/2 hour. Bit disappointing as we were only on a short trip. Very... More

Our group of seven went on the hour long cliffs cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked the day before and it was fortunate we did as the cruise was completely booked. The trip out was against the waves and the front of the boat got quite wet, but it only added to the fun (might not be the case... More
