Good service!

It was a bit wild the day we travelled, but the service was good and to be fair, there wasn't anything more they could do. Good service.

Went for an overnight to Inishmore. the Ferry was a lovely way to go on a beautiful September day. Standing on the bow we had a good view of the Cliffs of Mahor on the way out and back. Lovely

Just kidding. Great fun crossing over from Doolin to Inisheer on a windy day with fairly rough seas. The boat handled the water well, and the crew is very professional. Other than a few ladies getting sick because they sat inside (down below), the trip was awesome. We even got Sandy the dolphin to greet us as we entered the... More

Know your limits as to how quickly you get seasick as the seas can be very rough. We left from Doolin. It looked like three competing companies trying to get our business at the dock. Yet when we left only one boat took all the passengers. I suspect there is some type of agreement between the companies. Efficient, they do... More

Chooses the warmest, sunniest day if possible because The Atlantic is NOT the Gulf :-) Take a raincoat for the spray and wear a sweater under it if you go this time of year. BUT...the ride was well worth it. It's another world over there,

The weather was blustery but the ride was pretty smooth. The ferry left and arrived on time and the price was reasonable.

The ferry provided us with an excellent view of the Cliffs of Moher. The problem was that there was no narrative of what we were looking at and anything about the Cliffs and why they were worth seeing (other than the sheer beauty). Captain Bill is running a good scheme here.

Choose to go to the larger island (unless you just like smaller islands, but there isn't much to do on the smaller ones). On Inishmore, there is an old fort and other attractions, and if you really want a great experience, choose to explore by horse cart. The drivers are "characters," to say the least. It's better to be in... More

We loved the Aran Islands! The trip there on the Ferries was fantastic. We even had a visit from their local Dolphin Sandy!

These ferries are small and do get tossed about a bit if the sea is a little rough, but that only adds to the experience and is actually quite fun. We had a mixture of tourists from all over so were able to hear lots of different languages, the common most one being laughter. The crew, such as it is,... More
