The ferry ride to the Aran Islands is the only way to get there. The Doolin Ferries do not go in bad weather, so we were lucky as the ferries the two days before were cancelled.

Super experience on the ferry crossing to the Islands with a wonderful trip to the cliffs on return to see the Sea Stack and the wildlife.

We went to the small island, boat ride out was beautiful and we took a carriage ride around the island. Just loved it. The boat trip back to see the Cliffs of Moher was a little wet, but it was still a blast.

What a great way to spend a 1/2 day! Took the 11am ferry from Doolin to Innis Oirr, spent close to 2 hours on the island which is plenty of time given the small size of the island, and then took the 1:45 ferry on to the Cliffs of Moher. Bikes are easy to rent when you get off the... More

Took this ferry to the islands and was amazed at the distance we covered. This is a great way to see another part of Ireland...where Irish is spoken and the atmosphere is wonderful!

Rather herded about is what I remember about this tour. It is interesting but it would have been good to have more time.

There was a lot of good points so stay with me while I detail the one bad point..... my partner and I had decided even before arriving to Doolin that we would take a ferry to the islands, so we walked from our hostel to the ferry ticket office by the pier. As we approached, 2 young men standing outside... More

We jumped on the ferry to enjoy a day on the islands. It was clean and fast. If you're in the area, this is a great side trip. Seeing the Cliffs of Moore from the ocean side is awesome. I suggest you get off and enjoy the views and take a cart and pony ride with a local. Food on... More
