Its like coming close to the nature when you are able to see and feed the Koalas, Kangaroos. you can access to animals like Tasmanian Devil, Peacocks, Snakes. Then you can relax by playing Mini Golf in the Pirates ship course.

We visited this animal park on the way to Phillip Island. It turned out to be far better than seeing the penguins there. There was a wide range of animals and it was great to hand feed the kangaroos and wallabies. The emus required a bit more care. My wife had her photo taken next to a koala which gave... More

Had an absolute ball at Maru! The staff are wonderful and it's obvious they take pride in their work as the park was so clean and the animals looked well cared for. Great to be able to stroll around with the kangaroos and the little dingo pups were just adorable! Food is excellent quality and standard too! Great for little... More

My husband and I visited the Maru Koala and Animal Park on Saturday 4th October with our 11 year Old Grandson who was visiting from New Zealand. The Park and staff were wonderful and we really enjoyed the experience. The animals seem happy and well cared for. However, the one thing that spoilt the visit was the unreasonable 1.5% surcharge on... More

I was very disappointed from my trip to Maru park. I'm not talking about the mini golf, where I went to have a look and seemed abandoned, i'm talking about the animals. Apart from the kangaroos and the wallabys, who were free, all the other animals were in cages that, even if respond to the standards or more, appeared like... More

This park is amazing! It was affordable for a family of four plus with the ultimate encounter for three of us. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds were clean and tidy. This place is small but we think that is what makes the experience so amazing. All the animals are well cared for and clean. The staff definitely... More

We had so much here! The animals are tame! You can feed them and pet them. I am sure it is just a tourist trap but we had so much fun! We took a ton of pictures with traditional Australian animals - koalas, wallabies, and kangaroos! It was great fun!

This is a very good place to spend the afternoon, or maybe even the whole day. Kids and adults will be entertained for hours because a lot of the animals just roam around the park. You can buy a 2$ animal food and feed several animals like kangaroo, alpacas, wallabies, koala and even a horse. Entrance fees are very reasonable... More

Loved our visit to Maru, was brilliant seeing the koala's and kangaroo's up close. The facilities were very well kept, and the staff were very knowledgeable. Dawn in particular was great, very friendly and helpful, and made our visit to Maru that bit extra special. Will definitely be back to visit next time we're in the area.

We have just had the best day at Maru Animal Park today with our two grandchildren, aged five and two. We spent nearly 5 hours at the park and the children would have easily stayed longer. This is a well presented park with very friendly staff and attractions that would suit visitors of all ages. The children loved getting up... More
