Excellent value for money. The best thing was getting up close and personal with the koalas and kangeroo's. Staff really friendly, helpful and informative. One thing I would say, is that it was quite muddy. I know it's winter, but there are a lot of unmade paths, which meant. It got a little too messy at times. Was well worth... More

It's very small. The animal park isn't much bigger than the gift shop. You won't need more than an hour to see all of the animals more than once. Apart from loads of kangaroos (including a couple of Albinos) the remaining animal collection is pretty small - a handful of Koala, two Tasmanian Devils, a trio of elderly and rather... More

My daughter and I visited here yet again with my granddaughter, We had a lovely lunch in the cafe and then toured the park. Friendliest kangaroos ever!!! We then enjoyed another coffee while my granddaughter enjoyed her time in the new child playground. A wonderful day and great customer service.

On the right hand side of the road as you head to Phillip Island in the township of Grantville is the Maru Koala and Animal Park. If you have young children or from overseas you will find this an entertaining hour or so. If you are an adult couple from Australia you're probably better to save your money and go... More

Expected a bigger park but was surprised when we entered. Overall place is clean and the kids had fun feeding the animals.

The park was nice and clean with friendly staff. The price and length of time wasn't worth it to us. Was the most over priced animal park that we've been to and we stayed for less than 30 minutes. We finished walking the grounds in 10 minutes and were finding it hard to stick around. There is not a lot... More

We were surprised at the excellent standard of this park, (we have been to a few) this one was 1st rate...All the wildlife seemed happy, relaxed and very well looked after plus it was clean. Staff were knowledgeable and kept the kids entertained with presentations of some of the animals, including interesting facts/myths, patting or holding was also then allowed..mini... More

This is a great way to get up close with some of the unique wildlife of Australia. It was just a side stop on our way to Phillip Island for the penguin parade but we enjoyed it very much. Feed kangaroos and wallabies, see koalas, dingos, wombats and Tasmanian devils up close. Native birds and farm animals were also on... More

Mini golf course was good, with innovative Australian themed holes. However there are areas in need of repair. There was also rock edging in some areas so the ball can get caught. One hole went in to a cave but the switch for the lights wasn't obvious-perhaps should be sensor activated. My kids enjoyed it.

Went there with our 4 yr old & had a fantastic time. Were able to get real close & hold a Koala for a photo shoot. Lots of animals like kangaroos, dingoes, koalas, emus, alpacas, a donkey & peacocks. Got lots of close up photos & could feed the animals. Good time for the little ones!
