We booked the Factory Tour of Denby Pottery and were very impressed. It was an impulse decision having seen the signpost on the M1....we were glad we made the detour. The whole package was very entertaining and informative. The factory is bustling and they take your H&S very seriously. However, this doesn't detract from the tour....you get to see a... More

We had a fun day at Denby. It was very busy but not too busy to enjoy the facilities. You can't do the factory tour with younger children so we did the Craft Room Tour which included an informative video which was also entertaining, a guide demonstrating processes used in the factory, a chance to make a frog and the... Not the place for anyone without a serious crockery problem like myself. I love Denby and have two complete dinner services so it's an ideal place to feed the addiction! The coffee shop is excellent severe the factory tours.

Went to the Denby Pottery visitor centre with friends, we all went for a factory tour first, whichbwas very interesting and informative, and had a go at making a frog out of clay, after went to a cookery demonstration, then looked around the pottery shops. This is a place well worth visiting. It also has a very good restaurant.

Loads of crockery and I would say you could quite possibly buy everything you'll ever need in the kitchen. Unfortunately I liked too much but the budget wouldnt allow :-( the sand area is a fab idea as the children were quite happy to play after being told on numerous occasions "don't touch anything!" in the shops lol

Something for everyone. Even if you buy a mug or two the trip will be worth it. If you can fit in a factory tour, it will help you appreciate the value of Denby's tableware. The factory Seconds shop is outstanding. So much choice. Well worth the trip.

Love this place, the summer beach for the kids is a great idea, and it keeps the little ones amused. The shopping discounts on their products here are amazing and keeping money restrained inside your wallet will be hard! Its a cooks paradise with so much kitchen equipment and cookware to choose from. The best part is the reasonably price... More

This was our first visit although we didn't go into the factory the outlet village was excellent large selection of pottery & denby seconds. There is also other shops e.g kitchen ware, gifts, cards & a excellent restaurant serving both main meals & snacks. They are also running "seaside" activities for the children who appeared to be enjoying themselves.

To start with the shops, both the upper, which sold new and the lower, which sold seconds, where fine - no problem there as such, although we did notice the wheel chair lift (as the shops are split level) was not working - so a wheel chair user would have struggled. However my biggest bug bare about this trip to... More
