Liked: cooking demonstration of kedgeree and ginger&rubarb pie. Have never mind kedgeree but will definitely do so after this trip. Our cooking demonstrator- Helen was very friendly and showed us how easy cooking can be with everyday ingredients. Liked: discounted prices off denby kitchen ware, bought some beautiful designs. Disliked: came on a bank Holiday Saturday and unfortunately the factory... More

Visited Denby Pottery Visitors Centre and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. We had a light lunch in the Bourne's Restaurant, hot food and light snacks tea coffee and soft drinks. The small museum is interesting it dates back to the 19th Century. The gift shop is quaint and you will find many different items from beautiful glassware to jewellery, jams, traditional... More

Did the shops and tour: Enjoyed the tour as the process was well delivered and presented. The shops were predictable but clean and bright. Had a meal in the restaurant: Nice fresh and different at a fair price. I suggest Tour and Tea!!

We paid yet another visit to the Denby centre yesterday, and as with all of our other visits, it was a great experience. If you collect Denby tableware, as we do, then this place is a must. The seconds shop is the main attraction for us, where near-perfect crockery can be bought for a fraction of the cost of the... More

Even of you don't wish for the factory tour, you can spend a couple of hours in the shops. The Outlet shop is well worth a visit as the prices are a fraction of the price in the departmental stores. The emporium shop has several shops in one building, including kitchen, cards , and even a small deli. There is... More

Something for everyone of any age. The factory tour includes paint a pot which every child we have taken ( 5 at last count ) has enjoyed. Add to that cookery demonstrations , high quality shops and a scrumptious restaurant make it great place . The only downside is in that the shops are high quality they are expensive.

The past 6 months we unfortunately decided that the restaurant had lost its sparkle. However, we returned on Thursday and it was fantastic. The lovely chef,... More
