Went on the trip although it was raining. But you can stay inside and watch the landscape passing by through the big windows. The bar has tea/coffee for reasonable prices

Drove an hour from roundstone with two very young children in the car to catch the 2.30 boat. We arrived at 2.05 only to see the boat leaving. The person at the ticket office told us it was hired privately but to come back tomorrow. We checked the website before we left where the times were clearly listed. It was... More

Dear Anna, We are sorry that you and your family were disappointed . Due to a limited amount of spaces onboard we would always advise customers to book in advance over the phone or online to avoid disappointment. From time to time the boat does sell out and unfortunately the 14:30 sailing on the day you came out was fully... More

Had a great experience, even in the typical irish rain the views were still amazing. And I would highly recommend the baileys hot chocolates. Crew were very friendly.

I took a group of active senior citizens on a cruise of killary harbour on Oct 1st. After an almost two hour journey there, we received a very warm welcome on board. I had pre booked tea/coffee and scones which were served shortly after departure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The commentary was clear & very interesting. If... More

My husband and I took the Killary Harbor Cruise on the Connemara Lady on October 13th as part of our "Jewels of Ireland" Vacation with CIE Tours. The 90-minute cruise was top-notch. The views of Killary Fjord were spectacular as was all of Ireland. The narrative during the cruise was very informative. Interesting information was shared regarding the formation of... More

The boat cruise was calm and the narration informative. The staff was helpful and friendly. I did not eat but the dining room looked very inviting. If you're dressed warmly, stay on deck as I did and get the full benefit of the magnificent majesty of the Fjord and surrounding scenery. The salmon farming and fish beds provide interesting facts... This is a 1.5 hour leisurely trip along most of Killary harbour. The boat is comfortable and, as the fjord has mountains on both sides the water is calm with little risk of seasickness. The commentary, which covers the geography, history and mythology of Killary Harbour and its surrounds is very good. There is food and drink available on board... More

Highly recommend this cruise on Killary Fjord. The views were fantastic. We took the cruise that included lunch - 24 euros. Lunch was very good and the staff were very accomodating. Make sure to stand out on the back or front (not many were - outside of lunch, that's where I was) to see the spectacular landscape! I feel this... More

This is a catamaran. The commentary was very interesting about how the fjord was formed about 460 million years ago. There are mussel beds and salmon farming. It is said that during the second world war a British submarine and a German submarine took refuge in the fjord. As Ireland was a neutral country the submarines ignored each other and... More
