Rooms are marvellous, luxurious and vast. Golf Course is a true challenge. The food was amazing and prices in the bar were reasonable. The local area is great for sightseeing

Like any good golf course, there is a restaurant inside that serves delicious wings and smooth Guinness. We came here to seek shelter from the rain and sneaked our way up to some of the member-only golf board rooms. When we got caught, we just played it off like we were lost and looking for the bathrooms. We were immediately... More

I wasn't planning on playing golf while in Ireland, didn't even bring my clubs. We were staying at the hotel across the street and when we drove up I said, "I think I'm going to play this course." I recommend the West Course, only because they said that was the better course and it's the only one I played.

Played the West course yesterday. The whole ambience of the place and the scenery are excellent. From tee to green it was very fair and challenging. Our problem is with the greens. I don't think we had a flat putt in the whole round. Too undulating with ridiculous runoffs if you miss the cup. Some greens had USPGA type pin... More

My dad and I played Powerscourt East on August 12, 2014. We were thoroughly impressed with the layout and the immaculate condition of the course. The greens are some of the most challenging either of us have played...and we've played a lot. You really need to be on your game to score well here, as the rough is tough to... More

You cannot beat the views here from the West course. Wow. Historic, classic and beautiful grounds and estates. We loved it during a very nice and sunny day in July. West Course is the hardest and hilly. According to a very friendly member on the range the East course is preferred by the members because it is easier to walk.... More

I went with a group of people to play golf one day in June 2014. The course was fabulous and all about the golf was great. However I paid €60 for golf and a 2 couse meal afterwards. The golf cost €45 so the meal set me back €15 which seems quiet reasonable. What we got was a disgrace to... More
