We played here our last day of our trip and I wish it was earlier in the week because I would have wanted to come back and play again before leaving Ireland. I am looking forward to coming back and playing again next year. See you then

Beautiful Old Tom Morris course. If taking a caddy, which you should, ask for John. If there is more than one, he used to be a chef. Great caddy and an Irish gentleman.

Great golf course, but expensive for green fees. Home to the South of Ireland golf championship each year. The second course is much less hilly, but not the same challenge.

During a recent week-end to Ennis we decided to play golf at the renown Lahinch golf course in West Clare. This was a thoroughly experience. Lahinch is one of the top links courses in Ireland. Green fees are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Loved it. If you are a golfer, well worth a visit. We... More

Played this course as part of a golf holiday that also included Tralee and several courses in Killarney. This was our first experience with a true links course and took some getting used too (hit it low and run it along the fairway out of the wind!) but overall was a great experience on a beautiful course. We started at... More

Great course, up there with Carnoustie, Muirfield etc. Friendly starters but very professional, and nice shop with excellent staff, 2 of our group hired clubs, top of the range. Full and tasty menu late in the evening, lovely food , the usual huge Irish portions. Will start planning to get back soon, shame I live in Scotland !

Played golf but you must sit down and have bowl of seafood chowder with brown bread ! Best I have had in Ireland. Sit with pint of Guinness & watch #1 plus #18 green

Played here recently with a group of friends. The course was in fantastic shape. Extremely well presented with true rolling greens. Friendly staff and excellent service and food in the bar/restaurant. Always enjoy coming back and am already looking forward to my next trip down

This golf course is over 125 years old and is still a classic. The lay-out is outstanding and the condition of the course was close to perfect. This was my fifth time playing the course and it just gets better each time. This is definitely a must play for any golfer visiting Ireland.

If you want to have a great time, play the Castle Course rather than the "Championship Course". The Castle Course is only 35 euros (as opposed to the Championship Course for 150 euros! Yikes!) and it offers spectacular views, challenging holes, and all the quirks and teases of a good links golf course. If I go back to Lahinch, I'll... More
