If you are interested in playing a true links course then this is one for your list a true test of golf particularly when the wind blows. The staff and location are excellent and the views from some of the holes across the beach and out to sea are stunning. Highly recommended for the serious golfer.

well this was the third time I have taken a group to Lahinch and we all enjoyed it. the course is fantastic and in very nice condition. I again had Mr. Thynne as my caddie for the 3rd time. his knowledge of the course is superb and it was a joy just to spend an afternoon with him and the... More

We played Lahinch in the teeth of a gale - the starter told us the gusts were hitting 75 mph! He also told us most of the golfers that had gone out before us hadn't even finished the first hole before walking back in. I managed to lose my rain cover on the first hole - it blew off and... More

Fantastic course along the altantic ocean. Well maintained. Not easy for the high handicapper - many drives require you to clear 150 yards of goarse.

We played two rounds here in November and I had actually forgotten how beautiful a course lahinch is. It really is top class particularly the second half of the front 9 - I can't think of a better few holes back to back anywhere else i have ever been. What really makes it though is the staff in the clubhouse.... More

I had never played a link course and it's very different however fun. No electric cart you carry your bag. Also the weather and wind play a huge part on how well you do.

This is one of the oldest courses in Ireland, and it has some quirky holes and several blind shots, but that just adds to the charm. The people were very friendly, seaside views were great, and it was one of the courses I've ever played. Don't miss it if you're planning a trip to this part of Ireland.

It has everything, quality, challenge and views. Very good club house with good value meals and friendly staff. If you can get a deal on the golf , go for it.

On my first trip to Ireland I only had the time to squeeze in one round of golf and I chose Lahinch. Wow, what an excellent choice. I have the pleasure of belonging to a club in the states that is generally considered to be in the world top 25 but Lahinch was a whole different experience. It was cold... More
