I “played” this famous golf course on 16th May 2015. The winds were 40mph and rain was often torrential. Despite the weather, I felt that having grown up in Scotland and accustomed to links golf, I would find it only slightly easier than trying not to laugh at David Feherty over a 3-hour lunch. Think again! (And that was a... More

Played this wonderful course last week (June 2015), excellent condition-presented well-helpful staff- would recommend you hire a caddie as you need every bit of help you can get on this gem of a course. Not for the wayward hitter but keep it straight and it is tremendous. It is a bit pricey but when you consider the history of the... More

I have played this course over the last 15 years very 3 years and find it to be the most woman friendly and playable. The course is about 5400 yards par 74. Some narrow fairways but reasonably easy to find your ball. Scenic and great holes but often windy and cold as is most of Ireland even in summer. Now... More

You can argue a few holes are tricked up, but if you are hitting the ball well, you will have a great time, and if you aren't, you will have a great laugh. It was a beautiful day, with a fun caddie, and the course was in fantastic shape. My friend played well, and I did the laughing while fighting... More

Great links course with a challenging layout and drastic setting along the sea. The course is in a top condition and is very well maintained. Its rather pricey with 150 EUR greenfee though, considering that they don't even have a driving range but only a net box with broken mats.

As been stated before Lahinch is the best one street golf town and course anywhere. The warmth, scenery, food and golf club are incredible. Led by our Ireland trip coordinator Martin Barrett who is a member at Lahinch and has a deep, brilliant history there, we loved ever inch of the finest conditions and special golf course. Great walk on... More

Old school links golf. Tough, but an incredible play. No carts, just walking, grab a caddie and go. Inexpensive for courses of this quality. If you visit Ireland, go play!

Thank you for your kind and generous comments. We are very proud of the history and tradition of our Club and, in particular, the Old Course which has stood the test of time for more than 120 years. You can see first hand the work of Old Tom Morris, Alister MacKenzie and more recently Dr. Martin Hawtree. Hope to see... More

An excellent links course that will challenge the best of golfers. If you don't know the course I recommend paying for a fore caddie to show you the way round as there are many brutal traps ! The club house has excellent facilities including a drying room -- a good asset considering the lottery of Irish weather!
