Played it on a fine, dry, but breezy, day with an excellent caddy, Adam, who spotted the errant balls, provided putting lines on the greens and targets for tee shots, all the while managing two bags and having the right club in hand when needed. The course lives up to its reputation as one of Ireland's best. Course condition is... More

As a women golfer it is sometimes intimating to tee off in front of a group of men. As it is here. Keeping it in the fairway and try to listen to the Great caddies. ( Thank You Dave and Anthony) . As I hit a long ball the caddy did indeed help to direct my club selection and direction.... More

Played Lahinch August 2015. Was blessed with good weather and able to enjoy the fabulous setting. Course is it immaculate condition - as you would expect for a championship course. A true links experience, no wonder Phil Mickleson says it is one of his favourite courses in the world! Hired clubs from the very helpful guys in the pro-shop, new... More

I played Lahinch first of the 8 courses I was scheduled to play during our two week sojourn of western Ireland. I was paired with some very good players and that was good because the wind was blowing about 40 miles an hour. Walking up some of those dunes with the wind in my face was a big challenge -... More

Played the Castle Course as the Old was out of price range (this time!) A good challenge & will be back. Some nice views of the Old & local scenery. Course is well maintained & tests your all round game. Staff in the Pro Shop & the Town Shop welcoming & helpful.

Thank you for your review of the Castle Course and delighted to read that you enjoyed your game. The Castle Course is a 'hidden gem' with pure fescue greens and is great fun to play. More

Very tough course. The two holes designed by Old Tom Morris are a bit quirky but very fun. Would not play these 2 holes the first time there without a caddy.

We agree that the Klondyke and Dell which were designed by Old Tom Morris and have remained unchanged for over 120 years are quirky but fun to play. More

We arrived in Ireland after an overnight flight from Pittsburgh and headed straight for Lahinch to play our first of 8 golf courses on this trip. The weather for the day included gale force winds with rain showers through out the round. The golf course staff treated us with smiles, got us checked in but due to all the people... More

Thank you for your honest review following your recent visit to Lahinch. I was surprised and disappointed to read that your food options were limited as we have a very comprehensive menu available all day. I will also review your concerns over the caddie assigned to you on the day as we aim to ensure that all guests enjoy their... More

Our golf foursome prebooked through ScottsAmerica to play Lahinch Golf Club and paid over $150 per person. When we arrived for our 8:10 tee time the winds were near 30 miles per hour. We teed off and torrential rains with thunder began as we approached the first green. We were totally drenched before we could get to our rain suits... More

I was in Ireland for my son's wedding last month. Having never played a true links course, my other son and I insisted on bringing our clubs. The Lahinch Golf Club's Old Course came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. Situated squarely on the Atlantic Ocean, the wind NEVER stops, but that just added to the challenge of the... Lahinch is what golfing in Ireland is all about. A great golf course on the water in the middle of a small and friendly town. This is a world class golf course without the world class costs and over the top luxury (and costly) extras.
