Maybe my favorite course ever

Old school links golf. Tough, but an incredible play. No carts, just walking, grab a caddie and go. Inexpensive for courses of this quality. If you visit Ireland, go play!

Thank you for your kind and generous comments. We are very proud of the history and tradition of our Club and, in particular, the Old Course which has stood the test of time for more than 120 years. You can see first hand the work of Old Tom Morris, Alister MacKenzie and more recently Dr. Martin Hawtree. Hope to see... More

An excellent links course that will challenge the best of golfers. If you don't know the course I recommend paying for a fore caddie to show you the way round as there are many brutal traps ! The club house has excellent facilities including a drying room -- a good asset considering the lottery of Irish weather!

I got the option to play here with friends and after hearing so much about the place jumped at the chance. We were delayed initially because of fog but it was worth the wait. I was wondering would it live up to the hype of been in the top 100 courses but I need not have worried. It's a great... More

Great golfing, great views, would definitely return. Very friendly staff at the golf course. Difficult course, but lots of fun. Really enjoyed this place. We did not stay at the hotel so can't really comment on that aspect of the area. Hotel was great though.

Delighted to hear that you had fun playing the Old Course - that's what the game is all about! For information only - the hotel is not part of the Golf Club but is one of the many accommodation options available in Lahinch where you can park your car and walk to the golf club More

If you love golfing then you must play on this course, right in the middle of playing I found a patch of yellow wild daisies and decided to sit for a break. How fun.

We are very proud of our Castle Course which is always in excellent condition and now that the summer is arriving, there will be more wild flowers to admire. We recommend that all visitors play the Castle Course before tackling the Old Course. More

No wonder this course is ranked so highly in all ratings worldwide. The quality of this links cannot be created elsewhere as it is a true unique experience. Playing off the Green markers can make it more enjoyable when the wind gets up. The sound of the Atlantic and the views of the bay and nearby Cliffs Of Moher creates... More

Lahinch is so unique it is one of the best in Ireland for me. It isn't pretentious, just a great golf course. Very different and unlike anything else you will play. A bucket list course for anyone.

Had a fabulous day on the links at Lahinch, which is one of the top-rated courses in the world. It's a beautiful old golf course with amazing vistas and unique golf shots. It was a very windy day, which made for some interesting golf. I hit enough good shots to make me want to come back and play again. Wish... More

I've been very fortunate to have played numerous courses around the world, and Lahinch just might top my list. Holes 3-12 could possibly the greatest stretch of holes in the entire world. A mix of challenging, interesting, and flat out perfect golf holes. I played on a day when the sun was shining but the wind was howling! (50+Mph). Hole... More
