Loved the course but you need to be in pretty good shape to walk the old course as they don't allow carts.

If you visit Ballybunion then you already know about the course. Links style with huge hills, hay-like rough, and gently 30 mph breezes.

Excellent golf. Caddies and courses were great. A must go to destination for avid golfers! The views were incredible and the greens were fantastic. On the top of my list of golf courses on our trip to Ireland this summer.

Didn't play golf but my aunt took me here for a treat and we had an excellent meal with stunning views over the golf course. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would go back again.

The courses are among the best in the world--spectacular, like the views. Saw many helicopters landing…and think I spotted McIlroy.

The views are just perfect, nice caddies, the history, the wind off the water, the colors of the rough and greens contrast. It is just a classic for a reason.

During the week before playing at Ballybunion, many people warned me about how the Old Course could be tough, fierce and ruthless.
