Im 22weeks pregnant and me and my partner climbed mount errigal today. Although it was a dull day it definitely was worth every step! The scenery is breathtaking looking out over either side of the mountain. One of the reasons Donegal is known as the most beautiful county in Ireland!

From East End Tory, the view of Erigal changes every monent. In the mist Erigal stays a mistery, in clear sky Erigal changes like a model on the catwalk

We climbed Errigal yesterday in the mist, it took us 2 hours 20 minutes in total, 1 hour 10 minutes to reach the summit. When in Donegal and if you have a good level of fitness make sure you climb this great mountain..

A bit like seeing the Matterhorn in the wilds of Ireland. Worth driving around the mountains if it's good visibility to get a sense of the wildness of Donegal.

The highest mountain in Donegal is a must if you are reasonably fit. It is very steep in parts but the views are spectacular from the top. Make sure you take some precautions as all good walkers should: 1 Take a whistle, there is no mobile phone signal. My friend slipped and injured his ankle. 2 Take Wellington boots for... More

We climbed on a brilliant sunny morning - what a view! Would not recommend if misty though as some parts precarious! It is very boggy at the bottom so be prepared for the possibility of wet feet. It took just over an hour to climb to summit (quite windy at the top dispite the glorious day) but absolutely worth it... More

Make sure you bring your wet gear but other than that a great trek and the view is out of this world on a clear day..
