A really nice afternoon walk, feeling the wind through your hair, and the sand under your feet. The sea is wonderfully cool to swim in, though not in Winter. Though it is horrible that the council has banned dogs off leashes on parts of the beach. Apart from that, flawless area.

Good beach and great place for seeing dolphins on the east coast! Very scenic area of the southside and very accessible by Dart.

The waves are always crashing in with a vengeance on Killiney Beach, even in the midst of the summer months. It's great place to go, but be warned, wear sturdy walking shoes, unless you fancy a bruising encounter with your toes and the countless thousands upon thousands of rocks and stones on the beach. Hi there, I was brought up in Dalkey and spend all my youth going backwards and forwards walking along the tracks through the tunnel on the rocks to get to whiterock beach and killiney Beach, walking up and down the hill admiring one of the most magnificent views on this earth " Dalkey Island" and Sorrento Terrace row of houses....
