It's a small place with a bit of a maze of narrow passageways - thank heavens it was quiet. Some very interesting displays and nice electronic displays. Many of the displays needed me to pick my daughter up to see them properly. It's not a particularly great experience but we would have scored it lower but for the engagement and... More

A wonderfully friendly and beautiful place to visit. Watch out for the gorgeous leopard shark and see if the little octopus is up for a game of tag...ask the staff anything and they will explode with fascinating information.

Had an excellent day with my family. Place isn't that big but quality over quantity. What made the day was the staff, their passion for their job was obvious and their willingness to share their experience with the kids was great(specially Dave). We will be back.

Randomly decided to go to a aquarium on a rainy day found it really enjoyable. Went during midterm so a lot of screaming kids around but still enjoyed. Spent about 45 mins in it. Get tickets online to get them cheaper. The staff were very knowledgable and we got to watch the sting rays being fed and touch star fish... More

We visited the Sea Life Centre during a short break in Bray. We found it so interesting and informative. The staff were so welcoming and answered our questions. We watched the Octopus having her meal and wandered around enjoying the many species on view. You can come and go throughout the day on your ticket so thats nice for people... More

A large number of tanks all with crystal clear water and full of active fish. We were especially impressed with the rays and sharks. Though there were many fish we had never seen before. The rays and dogfish poke their heads out of the water and you can stand near enough to touch them if this was allowed. The staff... More

I would not recommend. It's way to small to justify the price, we where done in 30 mins we actually went back around to see if we had missed a turn off somewhere - couldn't believe that that could be all it had. My son spent longer mulling over items in the gift shop than we did actually viewing the... More

Yes, the place is very small. Yes, it is crowded with kids and parents. But! What a great job is done by their staff. All the stories they tell are simply awesome, and very interesting for all - adults and kids. You can touch some of their species and see how friendly they are (really?) We enjoyed the visit very... Only if you have small children and you are already there to enjoy beautiful Bray. It's small, smells awful when you go in (you get used to it after a while). Tip: There is an excellent restaurant where you can enjoy the view of the beach minus the wind. ;-)
