This riding school is a friendly and engaging place. Roger offers a trek up the hills behind oughterard that shows you fabulous views over the galway countryside. My boyfriend and I are at different levels of ability but it truly doesn't matter here as Roger caters for all with the lovely horses and ponies he has. I highly recommend this... More

Roger welcomed our motley group of townies to his busy yard. He introduced us to our lovely ponies and once we were all happily comfortable in the saddle we set off on a 2 hour jaunt through the beautiful Galway countryside. Roger pointed out points of interest, including ancient burial sites and fortifications. He shared his love of nature and... More

My foster children were keen to try a trek. One has a little experience of riding, the other none and has some coordination issues, then there was me, in my 50's and a little nervous. Roger and his team were so welcoming and reassuring. We had a great time. The scenery is amazing and Roger's knowledge of local history and... More

My boyfriend and I went for a trek yesterday. It was his first time on a horse and despite my initial worries the trek went very very well. We both got amazing horses (Con & Angel, you rock!) and had the time of our lives. The weather was stunning, the views breathtaking and the whole 1.5 hr was spent smiling... More
