We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience here. However even if you're not staying here, but you are in the area a pop in visit should be included in your plans. Better yet play golf, have lunch or drive up to the main house. The gardens are interesting. The golf course is famous and it's designed... More

This resort is what you think of when you think of an Inn in Ireland. Very scenic, well kept landscaping and sitting area. Golf course right on premises and an excellent spa as well as numerous activities. The main dining room is lovely & but some of the food was a disappointment for dinner. Also the waitstaff was not Irish... More

Stay in the old house, not in the modern "cottages". The rooms facing the river and the fields have spectacular views of the fields and the horses. In the early morning, there is sometimes a mist that hovers over the fields that is really beautiful. It disappears as the sun rises.

Three days before we arrived I received an email stating that the estate would be having a wedding the day of our arrival. Weddings are booked YEARS in advance so the three day notice was crappy considering they require 7 days notice to cancel. When we arrived they had COMPLETELY closed off the entire front of the estate and we... More

We had heard from another traveler about the gardens at Mt Juliet but we were sorely disappointed. The gardens obviously had not been taken care of. They were full of weeds but the plants that could fend for themselves were nice. I would not make the trip to visit the gardens but Mt Juliet is known for their golf course.

On entering the grounds it's beautiful ,but beware of children in golf buggies. The hotel comprises of 2 sections. The main house ,where we had our room, and the golf club , which has a bar serving adequate food and a busy relaxed restaurant. In the main house it is very atmospheric Our room was ,to me, very old fashioned.... More

About a year ago I contacted Mount Juliet to say I was very disappointed with the food that three of us had at the Presidents Bar. It really was not good and the service was quite indifferent. Mount Juliet responded well and sent me a voucher for lunch. To be honest, I was not inclined to use it as I... More

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Had an amazing hack out on beautiful trails and several brilliant canters and then a blast up the gallops. Well looked after by Elaine and the team on duty today. Loved it !

We brought our daughter to see Santa at Mount Juliet on Thursday 18th December. We went last year also and as last year was good we thought we would go back but boy what a load of rubbish. The Christmas Market was closed, we couldn't understand why you would think it would be open. As we went in to see... More
