I visit mount juliet every year whilst visiting family in Kilkenny. The hunters yard provides good food whilst looking out on great views. This year we had afternoon tea in the main house. One word...WOW!! I've had afternoon tea at the Ritz and Claridges and this is by far the best! Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, although not particularly cheap.... More

We did not stay at the resort, although it looks quite lovely. We did have dinner at Kendals restaurant on site at this resort and it was a wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent and the food even better. It is an upscale dinner spot but worth every penny. Our meals were outstanding and the atmosphere and view from... More

I have stayed here on four occasions and eaten in the Lady Helen/Kendals on 7 occassions, each time I have immensely enjoyed it. Magical parkland grounds, Staff are extremely friendly, food in the Lady Helen restaurant is simply fabulous and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Two criticisms; breakfast in the Lady Helen restaurant isn't impressive, I have spoken to... More

This bar menu is as good as you'll get, local seasonal and cooked with that Michelin eye!!! The buttermilk cured Bacon Cutlet on Savoy cabbage exemplifies the case!! Super cooking and full of flavour And my Thai style Prawn Curry just hit the spot after a windy day playing poor golf:)Thanks all concerned .....

A huge well done to the staff and management of Mt. Juliet – our party of 6 found the entire experience fantastic. We have been to various other venues to see Santa over the last few years and found this year’s Mt. Juliet experience totally amazing for young and old. The elves at check in were courteous and engaged with... More

This year I wish to take the time to express what a wonderful experience we had. Mrs . Clause stole the show with her wit & performance. She interacted with all the children and they adored being involved. Your team of elves were engaging and delightful. Our Train escort 'Michael' engaged endearingly with every child aboard. The transition from one... More

My wife and I travelled with our kids to Mount Juliet last week to visit Santa in Mount Juliet. After strolling through the market area and having a bite to eat we then headed up to check in and meet the man himself. On arrival we were checked in with the kids receiving their name badges and having 10 minutes... More

I stayed in a clubhouse room for 2 nights over the weekend of the 22nd of November. Overall it was a really lovely stay but the accommodation was a letdown. We dined in the Lady Helen and Kendal's. Out of the 2 Kendal's was our favourite. Lady Helen is an experience but I preferred the informality of Kendal's. The food... More

An estate with access by the public allowed dogs allowed on the leash, Eating facilities excellent especially afternoon tea. Ballylinch stud can be visited even whilst they are working. Worth a visit, beautiful walks.
