Dear Joe (and Maeve, even if unknown to us because unfortunately the tea rooms weren't open the day we came): Perhaps you remember us four people from Germany who visited Jerpoint Park at July 28th - we knocked at your door in the afternoon and you didn't hesitate to take us around (with the other three women, who had arrived... We were there by accident and intended to be at Jerpoint Abbey. Despite this the owners were very informative and told us all about their conversation efforts in maintaining Jerpoint, the Lost town. We couldn't stay long but we enjoyed our stay.

We recently had a European family vacation. Wife and I plus 5 kids 15-24 yrs old. 4 countries in 12 days and this stop was as good as any we did. Extremely interesting and off the beaten path. I would encourage anyone to take the time and do it. Approx 2 hours and 2 of the best. Lots of walking... More

We stopped at Jerpoint Park as part of our custom CIE tour. Joe and Maeve were gracious hosts who shared their home with us. The house is beautiful, the tea and scones delicious, but the best was yet to come! When Joe and Maeve bought Jerpoint as a working sheep, cattle and grain farm, little did they know that they... Visited Jerpoint Farm/Park last week with our CIE tour (Irish Legends). I will sheepishly admit the advertised 'tea and scones at a farm' was a quaint idea, but certainly was not the stop I was most looking forward to. I stand corrected. Joe and Maeve (and kids and staff, and I hope I have your names down correctly) were absolutely... More

We stopped at Jerpoint Park while on a Tour of Ireland with CIE. This was such a quaint authentic part of our trip that for the most part it was a highlight. The weather was cold and wet so the tea and scones make up for it !! Such a beautiful spot to take a tour of Saint Nicolas grave... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable tour of the ruins, and old tombs, it is a beautiful setting for an old town. The walking tour was very educational, as well as enjoyable. It was a lovely day, and the ruins there are unforgettable. Who would have imagined that Saint Nicholas would be buried way out there. The sheepdog show was amazing,... More

An incredible experience, one I will never forget. Joe, the owner, is an amazing Irish Gent! Thanks for the private tour and history lesson late on a Sunday. A "must see" stop if ever in Ireland. You will not be disappointed. It is also the final resting place of dear St. Nicholas (Santa Claus), Joe will tell you. If you... More
