This trip takes an hour, costing €20.00 for 2 Adults and up to 4 children. The driver was great fun, very informative, my six year old surprised us by listening so intently to his tales of Cobh and the Harbour. Cobh is a beautiful town, well worth a visit. This trip is excellent value and a great way to see... More

This is the most relaxing, informative and fun way to view Cobh’s historic sites and beautiful sea vistas is aboard the Cobh Road Train. The train will gently go up and down the hilly Victorian streetscape where you will be able to take panoramic views. The driver/guide is very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. He will tell you all of Cobh’s... More

Funny, informative, enjoyable and relaxing! The driver Martin was very entertaining and really knew his stuff. Historical dates and anecdotes made for an enjoyable 1 hour trip round Cobh. It was perfect for us as with two very young children we wouldn't have been able to walk around the town's hilly streets for very long, but this trip offered the... More

We visited here, recently, while on a cruise. A very relaxing way to travel around the town, the driver was very informative and had a great sense of humour. As you travel around the town on the road train it takes you to some wonderful view points - great for the camera `buffs, you also have the opportunity to alight... More

You think it is going to be just a trip round the town. Boy was we surprised. The driver gave a brilliant commentary, he was very interesting and funny. He had some brilliant stories to tell. If you visit Cobh you must go on the Train Road Trip. Tour last an hour

This was our second visit to Cobh. As we walked away from ship, going ashore, we stopped at the 'chamber of commerce' Sirius Arts Centre and with a bit of conversation and ideas on what to do, we got info on the Train, with it pick-up and drop about a block further along. It cost 15 euros for a couple... More

My husband and I just returned from a Princess Cruise. The port of Cobh (near Cork) was one of the stops. There is a tram/train that takes you around the city to show you the charming sites for a very reasonable price. You can pick it up right in town. The name of it is the Cobh Road Train. Our... More

We took the Cobh road train tour in April. It was a fun way to see around the town. The kids loved the train and got the chance to have a few pictures taken in the drivers seat.
