You think it is going to be just a trip round the town. Boy was we surprised. The driver gave a brilliant commentary, he was very interesting and funny. He had some brilliant stories to tell. If you visit Cobh you must go on the Train Road Trip. Tour last an hour

This was our second visit to Cobh. As we walked away from ship, going ashore, we stopped at the 'chamber of commerce' Sirius Arts Centre and with a bit of conversation and ideas on what to do, we got info on the Train, with it pick-up and drop about a block further along. It cost 15 euros for a couple... More

My husband and I just returned from a Princess Cruise. The port of Cobh (near Cork) was one of the stops. There is a tram/train that takes you around the city to show you the charming sites for a very reasonable price. You can pick it up right in town. The name of it is the Cobh Road Train. Our... More

We took the Cobh road train tour in April. It was a fun way to see around the town. The kids loved the train and got the chance to have a few pictures taken in the drivers seat.

The Tonka train is fun to ride for the young and for the not so young. It takes you all over Cobh and up to the beautiful St. Coleman's Cathedral that presides over Cobh and the harbor with the informative and entertaining narration by the guide along the way. You will great views (and pictures) that are not possible unless... More

Mike is the best tour guide on the Great Island! Smart, friendly, funny and better looking than Jack Doyle! Gave us great advice on where to eat as well. Make Cobh Road Train a part of your visit!!!

Wife and I took this (on what looks like a 'kids' fairground train) tour packed with big kids for something different to do. We were not disappointed, before we even got onto the train, the wit and banter from the driver had started as he collected his fares - in the way only the Irish can spin it. Combined with... More
