Attended Mass on Friday at 10am. Didn't get to visit gift shop. I would have if the time permitted. Beautiful detailed paintings inside. The view at night is amazing.

Good uphill walk but well worth it for the beautiful interior & exterior and the spectacular town and harbor views from the cathedral car park. Entrance is free. A must see!

Surprised to see Cathedral on our visit to the area but it is situated high up over looking Cobh. Don't forget to look up as a lot of the impressive features are high above normal eye level.

I honestly did not expect to find a Cathedral in Ireland to rival some of the Gothic Cathedrals I have seen in other parts of Europe, but here stood St. Colman's looming over the town of Cobh, begging to be explored. We did not take an official tour, but were able to explore on our own, after Mass was finished.... More

We were not able to go inside as a wedding was going on. But oh what a wonderful Cathedral. Such architecture - just love these buildings. The views are amazing. Shame we were unable to go inside but I loved the outside.

It's a short hike uphill, but well worth it for spectacular town and harbor views. And if you are inclined to bow your head for a prayer or lift your head to feast your eyes on its beautiful interior & exterior, you won't be disappointed. I was inspired to say a prayer of thanks for my Irish mother.

Steeped in History, take the guided tour. All that's requested is a donation and it is well worth having a local flavour.

well trust the Catholics to spend their money on huge CAthederals - even in a humble town like Cobh. But the result is impressive. Stunning landmark dominating the town and sea
