This was a great way to spend an afternoon after Christmas. We tried to simulate flying a stunt plane, and then got the opportunity to do the simulated landing of a Boeing 747. The visit was thrill filled and fun- a great way to spend an afternoon. Top marks to the organisers, they are soooo friendly, helpful, professional from the... More

four of us, all in our sixties, spent two hours here yesterday. We had booked the flight simulator for thirty minutes and we all had a great time. Two of us were able to attempt a take off and landing from Dublin Airport. It was really realistic and we both came out in a sweat with the tension. Our instructor... More

To engage and enthral 6 'hard to please' ten year olds for a full 2 hours is no mean feat, yet the crew at Atlantic Airventure managed it with aplomb. The ease of booking, the super-friendly telephone conversations and the helpful suggestions about bringing the cake and organising take-away food made it the easiest party ever to organise. The boys... More

Thanks so much, that's very uplifting to hear! Our team love to share their experience and passion for flight, aviation is so fascinating that its natural to be curious, 9-11 yrs is the perfect time to introduce aviation career ideas, and if they get interested in aviation, then STEM subjects (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) are going to have to... I visited the air show last weekend with my wife and two children. My son is obsessed with planes so we were looking forward to the visit enormously. We were charged €18.00 to enter which was reasonable enough we thought but as it turned out the correct entry fee would have been €16.00 even so it was reasonable emough we... More

It was a really pleasant visit to museum and the 737-800 simulator! We came in with my girlfriend for a daytrip on a weekend holiday in Dublin. Quite easy drive on the motorways even for a "wrongsideoftheroad" first timer :) It took about 2,5 hours one way from Dublin to Shannon with a coffee stop on the way. From far... More

It's a great museum for all avation lovers at any age! The 737-800NG simulator is just like the real thing (except the hydraulic movement)! Great place to visit yourself or with friend and family! Great fun!

Went here last week with our four sons 8-17yrs on a family celebration. They all loved the activity, though the tutorial was a little technical for the younger 2, it was necessary for them to realise that this was more than a sit in toy you would see in a shopping centre. They got great care and attention and our... More

Went to the first week's summer camp and I learnt a lot . Jane and Eddie were very friendly and helped with any questions. Flying the simulators was very exciting, in the BA 146 and 737. In the summer camp we went to the Air Traffic Control tower in Shannon airport and we went to the control center in Ballycasey.... More

My two boys gave me a voucher for a flight simulator experience for my birthday. I had to ring up for a booking date and time. So here I was in the centre, greeted at the door and brought into a room upstairs to get briefed about the aircraft they use for the simulation. A Boeing 737-800NG. I was shown... More
