Walks for all - we walked with a 10 year old who loved every minute of it despite constant drizzle. So much to see and the views are fabulous.

It was hard work (took about 4 hours round trip, but I'm not in the greatest shape) but the view from the top was totally worth it! Make sure to take sunscreen or a hat, food, and plenty of water. Walking sticks would have been nice on the way down, as the first section of the descent seemed quite steep... More

This is on the N59 out from Clifden about 15 minutes drive. When you arrive at the car park it is a bit confusing as you've to walk behind the little hut and down a steep hill to the actual Centre. The Centre itself is well laid out and lots of facilities. Buy a map of the Walks for €1.... More

The hike to top of Diamond Head was spectacular and the weather perfect to see Tully Mountain and Kylemore Abbey in the distance. The trail is gravel and boardwalk in sections, well maintained.

On a recent trip to Clifden, I took a walking tour of Inishbofin with Michael Gibbons. What a fabulous day!! It started with a lovely, ferry ride to the island with about 32 in our group. We spent the next 5 hours walking and listening to Michael and his side-kick John expound on the history, culture, flora and fauna of... More

Wow what a walk! Paddy at the Quay house told us this was a must and he was right. The views from the top were worth the hike. Its a moderate hike with winds at times and a chill in the air.

Diamond Hill, good walk, easy enough. Conemarra park. Loved Roundstone regatta festival, outdoor music. Lovely drive around.

A great day, all for free. Three types of walks, easy medium and hard. A great picnic area and a very reasonable cafe with home made delights.
