What a great walk we had with Don, we especially loved the link he provided to Australia for us with his talk about William Dampier, having lived in Dampier/Karratha for many years. Don kept you engaged as he explained the history of the area and sea trade and how the town was formed. Without this tour you would not appreciate... More

Barry led us on a FABULOUS walking tour of Kinsale! He's friendly and really wants us to know all we can adsorb about his town. Being raised in Kinsale, his unique perspective and excellent delivery (complete with maps he carries with him) makes his tour stand head-and-shoulders above others. We really felt we "knew" Kinsale after his tour. Thanks, Barry,... More

Kinsale was one of my favourite spots in Ireland that I visited due to its charm. Barry definitely led an interesting, insightful tour. He would answer any question and supplemented the tour with stories!

We enjoyed the relaxed and friendly nature of the tour of Kinsale provided by Barry during our recent visit! He shared quite a bit of historical and interesting info regarding the seaside community that added a whole new dimension to our visit and made the sights more memorable! The recommendation for lunch at James Edwards was perfect too....delicious and great... More

You can toss your copy of Frommer's when you go to Kinsale if you take Don & Barry's tour. We started off near what was once considered "World's End" and strolled around the streets where Barry provided a full tour of the small town. This tour is ideal for all tourists- not just history fanatics. Barry is extremely enthusiastic and... More

We did the Historic Stroll just three days ago. Loved it. My wife and I are avid fans of history and this activity was just exactly what we love to do while visiting a new area: Learn the history of what has occurred there in the past and what makes that particular place important. Barry was our guide/teacher that day.... More

Our family had a great time on this stroll and learned a lot about Kinsale. We went with Don who is charming and knows his stuff. Kinsale is a beautiful town and learning more about the place and its layout made our stay that much more enjoyable. Recommended.

Barry's stories of the history of the town gave us a great sense of what went on here over the last 400 years. He has a great sense of humor and keeps you interested the whole time- not a list of facts but a real tale of the town woven throughout a tour of the streets. One of the best... More

Barry's informative, engaging, humorous tour of the quaint town of Kinsale is not to be missed! I felt he really played to his audience as we were mostly from the states and Barry made numorous analogies to US customs or history and this made it so much easier to understand the European History. He got to know each person on... More
