This was one of the more delightful tours taken during our three weeks in Ireland. You tell the story so well -- you captured our interest/attention throughout the tour as you brought the rich history of Kinsale to life. The remainder of our stay in Kinsale was made even more meaningful as a result of historic stroll. John and Marilyn

This is a "not to be missed" tour if you are in the enchanting town of Kinsale. And it would appear that no one brings that magic to life like Barry Moloney. The 90+ minute tour is overflowing with tales of the past as well as historical moments of impact in Kinsale. A thoroughly wonderful experience....... Rain and/or shine, it's... More

Barry conducted our tour of Kinsale and he did a fantastic job bringing the history of Kinsale alive. As we explored Charles Fort and other Kinsale sights later that day it was so helpful to have the historical background on why these sites were so significant. Highly recommended

We lucked out on this one, Barry was a wealth of information. He has a wonderful enthusiasm for sharing his love of history in Ireland and Kinsale. This was an exceptional walking tour! Shouldn't be missed if one is in Kinsale.

We went on the walking tour of Kinsale with Barry in September. He is a wealth of knowledge and gave us a very thorough background and history of this quaint seaside town. This was a highlight of our visit and Barry truly enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences with others. He cares about people! It's very laid back but well... More

I work as a guide with Rick Steve's and we bring group to Kinsale regularly. Don and Barry's walking tour is undoubtably one of the wow moments for all tour members. Take a historical walk back in time and have a fun learning experience with unrivalled humour. Already looking forward to next year. Thanks Barry & Don.

What a nice walking tour. Just an hour an a half and I've learned so much. Barry was fantastic! Great speaker. Rick Steve's really hit this one out of the park. Thanks Barry for a great stroll. Rex and Maggie

We had a delightful tour with Barry in late August when we visited Kinsale. We learned so much about the history of the area as well as the general history of Ireland in the walking tour. Barry was entertaining as well as knowledgable; he is a local and makes you feel welcomed to this remarkable little town. Kinsale was one... More

I have experienced this walking tour almost 100 times in 10 years in my role as a professional tour-guide with Rick Steves Europe. It really is excellent with an emphasis on in-depth history and fascinating historical information... The price is reasonable and Kinsale itself is ideal for a walking tour as it is pleasant and compact. Lovely to spend the... More
