This was a well maintained area with good information for visitors however is very difficult to find and not signposted from the main road. It is worth a visit if you are in the area but you may need to ask for directions.

Beautiful site. You really understand why Collins loved West Cork. The site is peaceful and somewhat isolated. May be hard to find but as the locals for directions.

Michael Collins birthplace was renovated -- lightly -- through the love and dedication of the community, as a memorial to a man who gave all he had for a remarkable vision of a nation. It's worth seeking out, and worth spending time there, thinking.

If you like Irish history or Michael Collins, a visit here is a must!!! The only issue is finding the hidden signs to it, as they're often behind over grown hedges but well worth a visit. Dosen't take long to see the site but the there is plenty of descriptions telling the tragic history, particularly of this great man!

An interesting place to visit if you are interested in the Michael Collins story and his impact on the history of Ireland. Quite low key but all the better for that.

Not the easiest to find, but well worth it. This is a quiet and contemplative place and should be a stop if you want to better understand Ireland and Michael Collins.
