This was an unexpected discovery. We were on our way to Cobh when we saw signs for the distillery and decided to stop. Glad we did. The tour guide takes you through the old distillery building and explains the process. You go through the aging room and can smell the sweet odors. At the end you get to compare Irish,... More

The Jameson Experience - A Fantastic Irish Experience! While in Cork we spent the day at the Jameson Experience and enjoyed the visit and tours immensely! From the tour of the original facility, to the tasting of the brands, its was just fantastic. Highly Recommend!

Kentucky has its bourbon, Scotland has its single malts, and Ireland has its whiskey--and, thank goodness, never the twain shall meet. Anyone who has graduated from parsing wines sometimes gravitate to a bit stronger spirit. At least equal to the site at Marker's Mark in the Bluegrass State, the people behind the Jameson brand show obvious pride in their brand... More

Went to the Jameson in Midleton today, 30/06/2015, got the last tour on 4:15 pm, the guide went to quick on everithing and in some parts we were almost together with the tour that left before us. No time to take pictures or see everythink. They gave you a ticket to get a free drink in the end, but you... More

A nice looking place and the tour was OK. Something interesting information passed along. Yes, the Angel's share is and the deepening color are amazing. Comparison at the end of tour, OK.

Touring distilleries is not a new experience for me. That said, the Jameson Experience was unique. The old facilities, or many of them, are still standing, though not all are currently in use. The newer distillery is adjacent to the old buildings, towering in the background. The tour and tastings took place on this older site, giving a sense of... More

Visited here on a miserable day when an indoor attraction was required. It is a very well presented visit and our guide was a fund of information and jokes. Visits are by guided tour only but it would have been hard to glean all the items of interest we were given just by wondering round alone. Very generous 'tasting' of... More

I had absolutely no idea how to make whiskey, and this tour explained it very well. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The free tasting at the end was a nice surprise!

As a Jameson's fan this was a must-do on our recent trip to Ireland. Despite the cold, rainy, windy day, we enjoyed touring the various stone buildings of the old distillery as it appeared in the 1800s. The tour ends at the tasting room where you have your choice of a shot of Jameson's or a larger glass of Jameson's... More

Awesome experience for anyone who enjoys the whisket or for people just interested in true Irish heritage. Very informative staff and the walk through the storage room is the highlight of the tour. Sampling at the end is both satisfying yet teaches a great lesson about the different types of whiskey.
