we visited this on our way to Cork. While not an active distillery, it was a great tour of how the distillery operated years earlier. the guide was very interesting and informative of the facilities. at the end I had the whiskey challenge and passed with a Jameson Certification. The facility is very nice. Overall it was a fun and... More

We got tickets for free with Tesco Clubcard Vouchers, however I would still recommend the tour to paying visitors. Our tour guide was very friendly and enthusiastic and appeared to love his job and the Jameson company. The tour itself was very interesting. It includes a complimentary drink at the end.

This was a very fun experience. The old buildings are very cool, and our guide was really knowledgable. We were running on a tight schedule and were unable to indulge in the drink after the tour. It would have been nice if we'd been allowed to use the drink ticket either prior to the tour or after, depending on your... More

The tour is very interesting but you don't get to see any whiskey actually being made, just some of the old equipment. The tour guide was very scripted and struggled to answer any questions outside the normal ones you'd expect. Some nice complementary drinks afterwards.

Was here for here specifically for the trip. While it didn't disappoint I feel that there is better whiskey tours on offer around Ireland. It is the old factory and whiskey is no longer produced where here (it is produced at a more modern factory behind tour site). It is good to see how it was produced in one of... More

Some may think the Experience is a bit expensive, but trust me, it's well worth it! The tour is one and a half hours and is quite interesting. It was eye opening to learn about the history of the whiskey and how it operates currently. The Angel's Share room does an excellent job of showing how age affects the liquid.... More

Not the usual kind of distraction, but this guided tour around a perfectly preserved piece of industrial revolution is well worth the trip. Wonderfully preserved and restored buildings and machinery, including the largest pot still in the world, a pleasant and knowledgeable guide, and the sense of being in the place which is part of the distillery that produces virtually... Very interesting experience. Great to walk through all the old buildings and see how everything works, learn a bit of history about the drink and what goes on behind the scenes. Very informative and knowledgeable guide and a free sample given at the end which was great. Reasonable entry price also. Definitely worth doing if in the area.
