This animal sanctuary is free for all to visit. The work to protect and rehabilitate rescued donkeys is conducted by committed animal lovers. Lovely walk around areas were donkeys kept, can stroke them and have a picnic in the outdoor picnic area or enter the shop. Children love meeting donkeys and if in area well worth visit.

Went today to adopt a donkey for my Mams birthday. It was raining so we decided not to walk around but the donkeys were heading into the sheds anyway. We adopted Róisín and the girl on reception brought us out to her and got her to come over so we could get a pic. She was really friendly and helpful... More

Such a nice place to visit. I go here often just to support it. They do wonderful work to mind those donkeys who had been neglected. The sanctuary is always thinking of different events to do which is great for kids. Easter egg hunts, santa visit and Christmas fair open house teddy bear picnic

Very educational from the get go. You will learn a lot about donkeys and how sanctuaries like this one go a long way in protecting them from animal cruelty. Great experience for children, students an adults alike. Obviously not a rollercoaster ride but not everything has to be a 100 mile/hour trip to worthwhile. People are very friendly and dedicate...
