Went today to adopt a donkey for my Mams birthday. It was raining so we decided not to walk around but the donkeys were heading into the sheds anyway. We adopted Róisín and the girl on reception brought us out to her and got her to come over so we could get a pic. She was really friendly and helpful... More

Great place to bring all the family and not too far to travel. Very interesting and great animals to see. We will be back this year again.

Such a nice place to visit. I go here often just to support it. They do wonderful work to mind those donkeys who had been neglected. The sanctuary is always thinking of different events to do which is great for kids. Easter egg hunts, santa visit and Christmas fair open house teddy bear picnic

I love the Donkey Sanctuary. It's a great place to take kids. I love how the donkeys are all rescued, all given the best of care, and are in great conditions, and that they don't breed them or anything. I wish there were more sanctuaries around to visit. It's great to teach kids about looking after animals. I've also done... More
