Wolfhound tours exceeded all of our expectations and we can heartily recommend this company if you are interested in a unique experience exploring the hidden treasures of Ireland. My daughter (23) and I (52) wanted to explore Ireland without have to drive or deal with the logistics of organizing everything. This was definitely the way to go. We were in... More

This was an amazing tour and I loved every moment. The small bus could go places few coaches could go so I've been to places that only the locals know about. This tour was over and above my expectations. I was travelling solo but was made to feel very much part of the group. Dave was keen to show us... More

I've done several tours in Europe. This was by far the BEST. Dave truly loves what he does and it shows. He loves showing off his beautiful country. My wife and I, ( early 50's, decent health ) were able to hike, cycle, kayak (beginner's fine) and horseback ride ( slowly ;) on the beach. Averaged walking around 6-7 miles... More

If you want to see the hidden places of Ireland in a small and active group this is your place. Dave is an amazing guide- funny, knowledgable, and always attentive. We hiked, biked, kayaked, and rode horses in amazing mountains, valleys and bays of southwest Accommodations exceeded expectations, every restaurant recommendation was spot on. After a day of adventure and... More

I was after something different this year for New Year's Eve celebration and was thinking either New York or Moscow. Then I had another thought, I didn't really want to see fireworks and spend my time aimlessly fighting crowds, so I searched the web and somehow landed on Wolfhound Adventure Tour website and I was hooked. Dublin bound ticket booked... More

I went on a 6 day West Ireland Tour with Dave of Wolfhound tours. I had another tour fall through in May meaning I was searching for an impromptu tour. What a wonderful end to a debacle of a start. I am still amazed at the effort Dave put in to finding a tour date I could get on and... More

I have completed two of Dave's walkng tours and both experiences were the full and total package of fun, information and flexibility; tailored to include individual interests even beyond the walking, biking, horse-riding, bird watching, seaweed baths, kayaking with seals, Irish dancing, musical nights at pubs, ringforts, dolmens, tombs, ruined abbeys, castles...all off the beaten path...no other tourists in sight!!... This was the first time I ever took a tour, and I wasn't sure I would like it, since I usually travel solo, but it was an extraordinary experience. Dave's sense of humor kept me laughing the whole time, and his musical taste was excellent! I learned about contemporary and traditional Irish music that I hadn't known before, and even... More

Our visit to the southwest surpassed expectations every step of the way. Dave O'Connor gets an A+ for history, music, flexibility, humor and charm. Every day is a treat whether it includes biking, hiking, soaking in local color and history (in and out of pubs) or all these put together. My husband and I don't do tours but the small... More

As with most guided tours the guide is a huge part of the overall experience. Dave was excellent. His deep knowledge of all things Irish mixed with his quick sense of humor made this a trip to remember. The group was small (12), the activities were fun and not packed with other tourists from the tour coaches, the accommodations were... More
