Before I stayed I read the reviews about the b&b and was hesitant about staying ,hearing about the grumpy staff and terrible rooms, well I have to say it was a great experience, pleasant friendly staff, clean spacious room with sea view and food to die for, would definitely be back . Defo worth a stay , will be back

Anytime we are in Bundoran and looking for food or a decent pint of Guinness we make sure and stop in at Maddens. Great food and not over priced.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch (which is reviewed as a separate entry for just the restaurant) and had some very nice Irish entertainment while eating. There was Irish music, Irish dancing and men in traditional, Irish dress costumes. Very, cool.

A great place to relax and unwind. Friendly staff very helpful. All that an Irish bar should be. Iv been to this bar meany years ago when I went fishing. It has come a long way and kept up with the times.

This is one busy bar. Long and relatively narrow the long counter accommodates quite a lot of customers while the space to the right is occupied by tables that were busy with diners all the time I was there. It was a Saturday in mid May. I was a client for the guest house part of the premises. I had... More

Visited this bar last evening, it was busy and a nice atmosphere. One of the bar staff was talkative (his first night) the other not so forthcoming. Had a snack which was just ok ( think the chip fryer oil needed changing..

New Year's Day we called into this bar after lunch for a pint and cup of tea. To say we weren't welcomed with a warm smile would be an understatement. The man behind the bar (who I can only assume was the owner of the establishment) had a permanent frown fixated on his brow and immediately made us feel unwelcome.... More
