We stayed in Dingle for 2 weeks and went to An Droichead Beag almost every night - it is just perfect there! Great & friendly people and cosy atmosphere, trad sessions with great musicians, perfect choice of beer (you should try the local CREANs if you go there)- what else to ask for? Go raibh mile maith agat!

Loved it! This was a genuine Irish pub with a friendly staff, friendly locals, and lots of beautiful women from all over Ireland. They pour a perfect pint. The music was spot on; featuring the best musicians from the West of Ireland.

Having bundled our bags into that rather special hotel, Benner's; and having satiated ourselves at that place of piscine excellence, Ashe's - it was time for some music. I once read that An Droicead Beag was "a beautifully tranquil late-bar with candle-lit traditional Irish music sessions". RUBBISH!!!! An Droicead Beag is the very epitome of a traditional Irish pub: crowded... More

I've been in Dingle four times and have probably had a pint in every bar in Dingle at this point. There is no bar I enjoy going to more than An Droichead Beag. The Bartenders are great people, the atmosphere and layout is awesome, and the bands they get to perform are top notch. Everytime I go to Dingle, An... More

This is the best pub in the area by far! We liked it so much that we went back there a year later to get married. Our reception was held in the pub and was absolutely awesome!!! The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. The entire event was planned from Boston and communicated through email and everything was perfect... More

No food here--unless you count crisps/potato chips. Just local brew, Guinness, and a few other choices (but not many). That's OK. You don't come for the food. The night we were here, we enjoyed some great traditional music and what seemed authentic atmosphere. (Lots of locals and not too many tourists, but it was early in the season.) One suggestion... This was a post-dinner stop for live Irish music. We were on the early side, and the place filled up with locals and tourists. Everyone was ready to chat and make friends. We had a blast!

didn't hear music, wasn't crazy crowded, but a late afternoon stop for a couple of pints proved to be a nice visit. Only locals in there at the time which was refreshing, was able to overhear (though not understand) some gaelic conversation which was wonderful, and some good conversation with the young woman who was bartending. Compared to the others... More

I went here at least once everyday during my time in Dingle. The staff was great and the people who drink there were very friendly. Also they have live music everyday and they were very talented.
