We met Catherine Graham working at the pub 2 years ago and she was so kind to tell us about many things going on in Dingle to see and do. We ended up spending 2 weeks in Dingle in 2013 and this year August 2014 we spent 3 weeks. Lovely area, friendly people and so much fun every night at... More

My 20 year old daughter and I traveled around Ireland for 2 weeks in May 2014 and had the joy of staying in Dingle and hanging out in the An Droichead Beag for an evening. The Bartenders were so friendly, the later it got the noisier and more crowded it got (that is a good thing in a pub) the... More

Great pub, good beer and friendly staff in the front and overly noisy youth club in the back. Only one bloodied face the night I was there. By day I'd highly recommend, by night give it a miss

Great pub on the "Mall" in the center of town. It is an authentic old pub that is lots of fun. The traditional music sessions draw great local and national musicians. The crowd is warm and friendly. The service and drinks are great.

Popped in for a quick beer, sat at the bar and had two nice chats with the bartender and Kevin. Kevin was a local and probably a fixture at the pub as everyone new him. Just a lovely fellow who wanted to know where we were from and explained his home to us as he's native to Dingle. It really... More

We stayed in Dingle for 2 weeks and went to An Droichead Beag almost every night - it is just perfect there! Great & friendly people and cosy atmosphere, trad sessions with great musicians, perfect choice of beer (you should try the local CREANs if you go there)- what else to ask for? Go raibh mile maith agat!

Loved it! This was a genuine Irish pub with a friendly staff, friendly locals, and lots of beautiful women from all over Ireland. They pour a perfect pint. The music was spot on; featuring the best musicians from the West of Ireland.

Having bundled our bags into that rather special hotel, Benner's; and having satiated ourselves at that place of piscine excellence, Ashe's - it was time for some music. I once read that An Droicead Beag was "a beautifully tranquil late-bar with candle-lit traditional Irish music sessions". RUBBISH!!!! An Droicead Beag is the very epitome of a traditional Irish pub: crowded... More

I've been in Dingle four times and have probably had a pint in every bar in Dingle at this point. There is no bar I enjoy going to more than An Droichead Beag. The Bartenders are great people, the atmosphere and layout is awesome, and the bands they get to perform are top notch. Everytime I go to Dingle, An... More
