The only Pub we went to in Dingle because we liked it from the first

We loved this Pub. I can't honestly say it was our favorite because it's the only pub we went to. It had 2 negatives which I'll state up front. It didn't serve food and it... read more

First of all I have no clue whatsoever what Martin, a few reviews down from me, is talking about with his comments about this place and its uncaring staff Nothing fancy, no gimmicks at all, good music, good drink, nice and helpful staff who were happy to advise on where to eat and what to do in the area. We... More

We loved this Pub. I can't honestly say it was our favorite because it's the only pub we went to. It had 2 negatives which I'll state up front. It didn't serve food and it didn't take credit or debit cards. The first night was fun. The session was performed by 2 musicians and they were pretty crazy. Lots of... More

Visited this pub on a Sunday night in March. Great music with a fantastic atmosphere topped off with professional friendly staff. Really enjoyed our night in the Droichead Beag Bar. Will definitely be back.

If you are a tourist, steer clear. The Courthouse pub or The Mighty Session are close by and cater for everyone in a civil manner. The Droichead is a facade, run by uncaring staff who are slaves to the clock. Tourists are fawned upon in the evenings, ignored as the hours pass and hen/stag parties descend.

One Saturday afternoon, i was looking for a place to watch the Chelsea match, went around a few pubs, and ended up in a place called an conair, which had it on, so i settled down for the afternoon for a few swiftys and some snacks, i must point out at this point, other than a few people who were... We were just wandering around Dingle and the music drew us in. The best we heard while we were in Ireland! Great people. Welcoming and very friendly. One of my favorite memories of our trip and a place I plan on returning to!

Large late night bar, very crowded in front entrance but lots of space in the back. American and Irish music playing both nights we were there, great craic! Make sure to ask for Tommy the bartender by name, he loves it!

We met Catherine Graham working at the pub 2 years ago and she was so kind to tell us about many things going on in Dingle to see and do. We ended up spending 2 weeks in Dingle in 2013 and this year August 2014 we spent 3 weeks. Lovely area, friendly people and so much fun every night at... More

My 20 year old daughter and I traveled around Ireland for 2 weeks in May 2014 and had the joy of staying in Dingle and hanging out in the An Droichead Beag for an evening. The Bartenders were so friendly, the later it got the noisier and more crowded it got (that is a good thing in a pub) the... More
