We had a few pints here and watched the world go by. Had a friendly chat with some others in the pub, and shared a few laughs. We sat at the counter next to boxes of shoes. The atmosphere was one of fun and relaxation. As soon as we left, we wanted to go back. It's that kind of place...... More

We stopped in for a drink and were immediately charmed by the timelessness of this place. Oliver was handing out in the sung with his Guinness and chatted with us the entire time about Boston etc. He was hilarious and made the whole experience. If you are looking for a different pub experience then go to Dick Mack's!

My husband and I were passing by, so we had to stop in for a look. Very cool atmosphere. Snapped a pic of Oliver, which ended up being one of my favorites from our time in Dingle. Would love to come back here at night for a drink, music, and chats with the locals.

When you think of an Irish pub, Dick Mack's has to be on that list. We arrived to the pub around 11 PM and it was PACKED with locals and visitors alike. Luckily, a spot opened up near a bench where we could post up at. Just after showing up, we ran into some friends we had made in Tralee... More

For someone from London, used to imitation Irish pubs, Dick Mac's was initially a bit of a shock, but with five minutes I loved it. We spent a very pleasant hour huddled around the fire in the side room chatting to the man himself.

My friends and I were shopping in Dingle before heading back to Adare when we walked in thinking it was an antique store. (duh) On the left was a station where the original owner would sell and repair boots and to the right was a bar. I knew this place was legit when I realized there were two snugs in... More

I went here for the Wren on St. Stephens day last week. I had a very very nice and strong baileys coffee. Totally relaxed atmosphere, really welcoming, cool barman. What more can you ask for. Looking forward to going back!

I spent a night here drinking with the locals and drinking many (MANY) pints of Guiness! Such a great little hang out, you feel welcome right in the door. Everyone was talking about a million things and laughing just about as much. At one point, the man next to me pulled out a recorder and led everyone in an old... More

Went here for a drink only but could have stayed all day. The atmosphere inside is so authentic and a perfectly preserved time capsule that it cannot be likened to any other pub/bar. If you're lucky enough to find Oliver, the owner (and descendant of the original Dick Mack) in the bar, do take the time and trouble to chat... More

Spend a wonderful afternoon and evening with the locals over a pint of Guinness!! You will spend many happy hours chatting and mixing with the locals in a True Blue, Dyed in the Wool...Irish Pub!!! The Price is Right...the company is Grand....A cozy place for a chilly, damp Irish Day or Night or Both!!!
