We booked a few month in advance, the day before I spoke with the office to confirm our booking and they told me that there was any catches recently and face us the option of cancelling. We still went and had a great half day, we caught Pollock and Mackerel, the skipper was really helpful and filleted all our fish.... More

Very friendly office staff in the office. The local boatmen knew exactly where to go to guarantee a fresh fish catch and to see Fungi, the Dingle dolphin. The kids absolutely loved the trips (we did several), each one equally enjoyable. There is an arrangement with two local restaurants that you can take your catch and have them cook and... More

We traveled on The Lady Breda of Dingle Bay Charters to the Blasket Islands recently. The skipper went through all the safety procedures and then handed over to Shane who was very informative about the area and its history as well as the wildlife. The journey took one hour. It was an added bonus to see Fungi the Dolphin (who... More

We were on the Lady Breda and had Declan as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyable. He also was very considerate to the woman near me who did not feel well. His kindness to her was commendable. I thought it spoke highly of him that she was the first back in the boat after the island visit and... More

I took the ferry to Blasket Island, an uninhabited, beautiful, mountainous island off the coast of Dingle. Along the way I got a lot of great information about the various landmarks and native birds from the tour guide. When we got to the island, we were allowed 3 hours to explore before having to meet back at the ferry. I... More

This trip takes in Fungi the Dingle dolphin before it heads out further from the harbour so it's one for those interested in more than just Fungi, although it does spend 15 mins in the vicinity of the famous fish. After that, we went out further as a very nice tour guide gave a detailed account of the historical, geographical... More

Just got off the boat with Captain Michael. We had a great two hour fishing trip and are at The Boat Yard waiting for our fish to be cooked. Our family of four caught about 30 fish in 2 hours, plus we saw Fungi, the Dolphin. When do you get such a productive outing in a two hour open sea... More
