We chartered a one hour tour of the bay for 100 Euros for our group of 10. We toured the bay, saw Fungi, went out around toward Ventry, saw the beautiful cliffs, Eask Tower from the ocean side, did a little fishing, saw Fungi again along with Hussey's Folly and back in for lunch. The Captain was great, the day... More

We took the ferry from Dingle to the Great Blasket Island. Enroute, there was an interesting and entertaining narrative about the local history and folklore of the area, along with the beautiful scenery. Arriving at the island, we were ferried from the boat to and from the island via dinghy, On the island, there were free guided tours of the... More

Visit the Blasket Islands has been on my "to do" list for years. This year we got to make it in beautiful weather. The local guide was both informative and entertaining and made the trip out seem very short. Everything was done professionally and with safety a paramount factor. Nothing was rushed, we even took time out to see Fungi... More

We did the one hour harbour tour with Dingle Bay Charters and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable - thank you Mary! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and we got to spend a bit of time with Fungi as well which was a lot of fun!

This is a boat trip from dingle marina out to the great Blasket. It takes an hour out during which time you get a local guide explaining history, archaeology and wildlife of dingle and the Blasket Islands. €35 per person is well worth it in my view. The island now has OPW tours of the old village. Not being our... More

My family and I took the one-hour bay tour and it was amazing. We saw some breathtaking natural beauty as we cruised around. We saw Fungie on the way out and then looked for him again on the way in. We got extremely lucky and wound up right alongside him. He came out of the water right in front of... More

Perfect 1 hour tour of the harbor and reefs. Magnificent view from the boat. We sited Fungie on our way back in but did not spend more than 15 minutes following him. Thankfully. The crew was very friendly and informative about Ireland's history. Worth the 10 euros!! Take a jacket.

I did the Eco tour last Friday 7th of August. It was a perfect day with clear sky's all around . I left Dingle harbour at 11 am and didn't return until 5.30pm. I did however worry about the cost of the trip @ €50 but in hindsight it was well worth the cost. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and... More

The catamaran boat is really much more stable than the other boats that we have seen and do the same job: going to the entrance of the harbour to see Fungie that is as reliable as a swiss clock: always shows up. So you do pay before climbing on the boat.
