Good views of the Tamar Bridges and a nice place to sit on a sunny day & watch the boats. Muddy when the tide is out. Ferry House Inn does good pub food but Royal Albert Bridge Inn is now shut. Information boards about the USA troops that embarked form here to cross to Normandy in WW2.

I love coming down to the Saltash waterside on a summers evening. There always seems to be so much more that you first think. The park is a lovely place to sit and mull the world with the river flowing passed. Take a stroll round and you get the sculptures for the ferry and brunel along with the famous saltash... More

The murals were great. Have an interest in Brunel and it was good to see such hidden gems. Really enjoyed it.

We came for a walk by the bridge and was very suprised to see what a great community effort has been put into this area, well done .The atmosphere was very good and the morning sea mist lifted as we walked around, plenty of signs with relevant information on .murials and plaques were very good.

What a superb location, with good views and historic buildings. well worth a visit to see the famous union jack pub and the waterside scenes of the bridges. There is even a small playground, public toilets and places to get a drink. Only downside is the area is a bit untidy and grubby in places and needs more attention to... More

I've always enjoyed a walk down on Saltash's waterside; it might not be as pretty as Mevagissey or Polperro, but it has its own charm and is a great place to watch the movements on the river as well as of course, unparalleled views of both the Tamar Bridges. If you have children, you will invariably find some swans and... More
