Wonderful little park with a variety of attractions including open-air table tennis, bowls, children's activities and, during our visit, open-air cinema with family friendly films. There was also a very good cafe.

Lovely park in the centre of Matlock. As a family we go here frequently. Plenty of nearby parking, clean loos and nearby cafes. For young children there are fountains and a splash pool, a well equiped park, for a small charges there's also boats (in a shared boating lake with lots of ducks!)and a ride on train. Generally the grass... More

According to an interview someone gave in The Metro newspaper a couple of years ago, Take That played in the bandstand in Hall Leys Park in Matlock in 1990, pre fame. Can anyone confirm if this concert actually happened?!! I have my doubts!!

Hall Leys Park is lovely for strolling with family and pets. It is situated in Matlock Centre and next to River Derwent. The park is well kept and has paths, swings, and a duck pond.
