I would like to find you! I was there (8.10.2014 around 2pm?) with my parents. You were there with a friend. You are about 1.70cm, dark blond hair, wearing jeans, sneakers...Your friend had long hair (dark blond?) and a long beard (red, dark blond). I saw you afterwards in a pub in castleton (bulls head). We booked for the Halloween ghost hunt at £10 a ticket for 12 of us and to be honest we couldn't wait to get out. Not in the slightest bit scary even though they say it's too scary for kids!! Complete waste of money

Having bought a "joint ticket" for Speedwell Cavern and Peak Cavern we turned up for the 11.00am tour, led by the theatrically voiced Irene. Peak Cavern has the largest natural entrance in Britain and such is it's size it is the natural choice as a ready-made rope-making enterprise. Irene ably demonstrated the primitive machinery and spun some rope before we... More

What a splendid cave and I think this was the one with the boat trip underground to see the rock formations (we've visited several over the years). Very good.

I made the mistake of thinking this cave would be enjoyable. They offered gummy bear refreshments for diabetics! SUGAR FREE, This was their only redeeming feature. However I quickly rethought this statement no less than 2 hours later, as liquid hell poured out of me. I can only describe the pain as next level not for n00bz. Experience needed to... More

A little overpriced for a 50 min guide into a cave. My partner a keen caver thought the guide was very amusing (the largest natural cave entrance may be accurate but to say that the biggest room there was the biggest cave in the world!! made my partner smile for a long time!). However the guide was very interesting and... More

Recently visited the Peak District and after searching for places to visit came across Peak Cavern. After visiting Speedwell Cavern earlier in the day with the joint ticket we purchased (£15.50 for both caverns), we visited Peak Cavern later on in the afternoon. You can easily walk from one cavern to the other (about 15mins), but plenty of car parking... More

We enjoyed our visit to these caves. The tour guides made it very interesting and were very knowledgeable. Easy access with only one short section were you have to bend down. Easy parking in Castleton and only a short walk to the cave entrance. Great on a wet day!
