I have visited Chatsworth many times over the last 35 years. I spent my 18th Birthday walking around the house and grounds with my then girlfriend and my parents. My last visit was in March 2015, aged 54 and this was the last visit I was able to take with my father before he died. I am so greatful to... More

We did the farm, petted the animals, the adventure playground was amazing, as was the catering vehicle. Rides in horse drawn vehicles, wonderful cafe and shop.

Our visit was expensive but we did spend an entire day here. We took a picnic and spent several hours walking round the gardens, watching the band and looking in the house and shops. Also visited and Christmas which was great and decorated so well!

What can I say about Chatsworth.? How lucky I am to have it on my doorstep. How grateful that we are allowed access. Truly a magical place for children and adults

Chatsworth with its picturesque surroundings is perfect for anyone who loves nature. The area around the house is huge and is full of plenty of places to walk. You will usually spot deer or sheep walking freely through the grounds. If you pay to get into the gardens then there is even more to see. There are lots of statues... More

We have been in the past and been in the house and the play park, but I visited with my daughter and dog and stayed in my Mums Caravan. The Chatworth park site is in the grounds. We did a 4 mile walk to the lake and went to Baslow village for tea. Highly recommended and cheap way to see... More

The grounds off his magnificant house are very impressive. The glasshouses are brilliant. The vegetable garden is very well done and is looked after by a friendly staff.

This is a place of intrigue. From the waterfall that is designed to have difficulty musical notes to the summer parties, art, festivals, shops and generally a great day out.

We went to Chatsworth for Mothering Sunday afternoon tea. How disappointing! Our table was not ready when we arrived, but was quickly relaid, maybe too quickly, as the only table without flowers or sugar tongs it looked slightly bare. The sandwiches were mediocre and the cakes, don' t get me started.Tasteless pink hard sponge ( my granddaughter could have used... More

My friend & I visited Chatsworth, we had a lovely afternoon walking around the beautiful picturesque gardens & the stunning 16th century stately home, which was built in 1549. The fee for both house & gardens was £20 for adults, which is very reasonable, when you think of the work to maintain the beautiful gardens. The staff was very friendly... More
