Terrific value for money - we were four senior citizens, two of whom needed mobility scooters. These were provided free of charge, with no time limit applicable - National Trust properties please take note!! The staff throughout the attraction were, without a single exception, delightfully friendly and helpful, which really helped to make our visit particularly memorable. Toilet facilities were... More

Chatsworth is about the most spectacular stately home in the country, and yet you can wander through like you are a visitor. Few ropes to keep you away; priceless art and history right in front of you. And then you get to go around the gardens and admire the fountains. Be sure to allow a WHOLE day.

We went with our 12 year old son, and opted for the 'house and garden' tickets. We also took the 'taster tour' which was well worth the little extra. Kay the guide was excellent telling lots of 'snippets' you would never know otherwise. If we had taken the 'discovery' ticket we would have run out of time. The staff without... More

Beautiful gardens and scenery beyond. Amazing tour of the house. It is expensive but worth the money.

We took some Australian visitors on a sunny afternoon in July. One of the visitors had particularly asked to visit Chatsworth. Car park not too bad at £3. House and garden tickets are a bit steep but pensioner rates are a help. The state rooms and circulation areas are impressive, and, of course, that was their purpose when they were... More

I went to Chatsworth when they had decorated the entire interior for a Christmas theme of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Absolutely magical. Well worth the extensive queues.

Absolutely stunning, the art was magnificent and simply breath taking. Amazing gardens and views. Something for everyone . Make sure sure that you take ready cash as some of the cafés only take cash. Dog friendly so that was a bonus, obviously not welcome in the house itself. But dogs more than welcome in the grounds, gardens and courtyard. All... More

My wife really wanted to visit Chatsworth. Initially gasped at the price it would cost 2 adults and a young child. However what brilliant value for money. The house and gardens are amazing as is expected, but the farmyard and children's play area is brilliant and well worth the entrance alone to keep a 6 year old entertained. A brilliant... More

It has been many years since we last visited Chatsworh House, and although we didnt go around the house this time, we did walk around a lot of the gardens and park. The maze was great fun, as was watching our dog trying to cool off in the cascade. The negatives were that some of the cafes and take aways... More
