The house is not to my taste - too overblown for me (I prefer the simple lived-in quality of, say, Haddon Hall) but... More

My boys and I walked the grounds while my wife and daughter toured the house. Really good experience.

I wanted to go because this house was featured in the new version of pride and prejudice. My husband wasn't too excited about it. But boy did we both love this place. It is truly breathtaking. I'm not a history buff...but the history is so interesting, the tour is amazing! The grounds are impeccable...I could visit here time and again... More

You can spend all day here on a dry day. The House is spectacular as are the gardens and general surroundings. Afternoon tea was great and relaxing, not stuffy and old fashioned. The farm shop is full of the most beautiful produce

So much to see. House is packed with all manner of art, had to be selective with viewing but plenty of variety. Gardens are beautiful, so many interesting areas - good to compare with Alnwick castle. Grounds extensive allowing a really good walk up to Hunting Tower, Swiss Cottage and lakes. Had been wanting to visit for years and really... More

We have lunched at Chatsworth Garden Centre many times and always enjoyed the meals. We usually have the 'roast' and the seasonal vegetables. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly, the staff are helpful, and there is a disabled toilet and I have always found somewhere to park. I recommend the restaurant.
