Very much worth the 2 mile walk from the Avoncliff aquaduct. We had some friendly directions to find the manor. Once there we were lucky to meet the owner/ occupier and had a very nice chat about his garden and the cherry trees in particular. Wonderfully set out guarded which was great to be able to walk around. One of... More

We had tickets for a musical event in the garden. The weather, surroundings and service were all first class. We enjoyed a wonderful picnic with friends. I will certainly return here as it felt so relaxing and "at one with nature". The garden is on a hillside so you either manage steps or walk further on a gravel track to... More

The weather was appalling with rain pouring down but we couldn't have had a more genuine welcome. Mr John met us and told us the history of the place with lots of anecdotes then lent us umbrellas and off we went. What a place. Reasonable entry price and a gorgeous 'Italian'garden. It would be difficult for anyone with a mobility... More

There are absolutely stunning well-kept flowers in this garden. Definitely a must-do when visiting Bradford-on-Avon.

A bit tricky to find, but very much worth a visit. This Victorian garden is very beautiful in all weathers, as we experienced during our two hour visit.

These unique Italian style gardens are beautifully laid out, incorporating terraces and interesting sculptures. Following a wander through the grounds we visited the tea rooms, which are worth a mention for the choice of real teas, and range of home-made cakes. I am keen to return for one of the opera evenings as I can imagine this is a magical... More

These Gardens are really impressive, as is Iford itself, wonderful, just right for a balmy afternoon wander. The afternoon tea was superb too, a choice of REAL teas, yummy scones, jam and clotted cream - an additional treat!
