Good golf society package backed up with friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food was high quality and very generous amounts.Shame the members were not the same, they must remember visitors help with the finances of running the club The course is fairly average and quite hilly, however great panoramic views of the Wiltshire countryside. We visited this a while ago now and were really disappointed with the reception we were given! It was almost like they didn't want our money! £30 to play is one of the most expensive courses around most charging around £20?, never again!

This is a Member's Club so you have to be a member, or be with a member or be signed in by a member in order to visit the club house and take a meal there. Once you're past this hurdle, you'll find the food and service is very good and the setting is stunning. Avoid Saturday lunch time as... More

A friendly clubhouse with good food. Undulating course. True greens. Well-grassed fairways. Dry underfoot inspite of recent rains-drains well into the chalk. Fantastic views all around. A very enjoyable society visit.

An old, short but interesting golf course on the edge of the salisbury plain. Thoroughly enjoyed playing and with small greens and lots of undulations it made for a tough test despite the course being short. A good rate and pleasant staff, my only note would be if its windy at ground level then go another day as I imagine... More

the club house, shop and lounge are average in my opinion. The dining room is a bit better but in need of refurbishment. The menu a bit repetitive. But it is a paradise for the golfer in town as the courses and the 19th hole are rather popular.
