We popped into this pub at lunchtime on our way through Limavardy and received a hearty welcome from Gary and the locals. We were impressed to see that it hadnt been modernised and retained many original features such as the old machine used for bottling the Guiness. Coming from London Id definitely recommend a visit to this pub if you are... More

Had a cracking first night of a week's holiday in Limavady last Thursday, 16th July, 2015 with my wife, Susan in Owens' bar. Staff were great. Many thanks to the girl behind the bar whose brother went to Edinburgh University. Great Gin & Tonics for Susan. Great pints of the black stuff for me. great crisps. Great customers. Would like... Called in there in May 2015 with some friends, good lively and friendly atmosphere and a very traditional Irish pub. The locals all sit along a long bench that's between the bar and the front window - so when someone has to get up and "pay a visit" the whole bench has to stand up! The Guinness is lovely, well... Great bar and easily the best in limavady. Always busy and always welcoming. On the colder nights they'll keep the fire burning to heat you up wether your in for 1 or 20. The staff are friendly and efficient. The dribks are varied and anything ive had from the tap is how it should be (no flat beers here) .... More

Went here on Christmas Eve with Family. The atmosphere was Great , the crac was Mighty and the Guinness is not bad either. The place was very busy and the service was excellent. Gary and the staff have always time to talk to you. Been here to for the Jazz and Blues festival in June and I would recommend it.

We arrived for a surprise party for a friend over the weekend and the hospitality and welcome from the owner was amazing. He kept our ,luggage on a secure area while we went for something to eat before the other guests arrived. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and everyone welcomes you with a smile.

I've been visiting Limavady regularly for ten years now, and I always pop into Frank Owens bar for a few pints when I'm up there. I've been to countless other pubs all over Ireland, but can honestly state that Franks is BY FAR the very best pub in all of Ireland. Gary is a perfect host, and the drink is... More

We were told to go here by a relative who lived close by, in fact she dropped us off there. We had a warm welcome from the bartender, while we waited for our Guinness to settle he invited us into the front room and lit the fire for us, so we took a seat and waited patiently until he brought...
