Ragley has been, and remains, the family home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford and manages to retain it’s family charm despite the thousands of people who visit each year. The House itself stands majestically in well-maintained formal gardens within beautiful ‘Capability’ Brown parkland. As well as being architecturally stunning, the Stables house an impressive collection of carriages really bringing to mind the extravagance of times past. The Adventure Playground provides a challenging experience, which includes the 3D maze, climbing frames, trampoline and swings – all in a safe and supervised environment. For the more energetic, we recommend the Woodland Walk, a journey through Ragley’s 400 acres of picturesque parkland and woods. At some point on your visit you are bound to see at least one of the fascinating sculptures scattered around the estate – these are an accession to Ragley from the Montgomery Trust. As well as being a great family day out, Ragley is the ideal venue for many corporate events with several rooms available for seminars, dinners and meetings. Ragley also plays host to weddings, celebrations and charity events. « less

As an anti royalist, anti posh, I was dragged here. However how the other 0.01% live. Loved it, educating, funny, inspiring, spellbound, suprising. The guide was awesome. Am going to give more homes like this a go.

The grounds are stunning and the picnic site is next to one of the best adventure playgrounds and maze in this area . We spent a great day in the sunshine with our family age range 1-61 and there... Spent the day at Ragley Hall, what a lovely place, visiting the Hall you learn about exciting historical events, there is wide open spaces, and a lake. Great picnic area, no barbecues allowed, and you can walk your dog around the grounds, so long as it is on a lead. Well worth a visit. Ragley Park spans 400 acres of... More

Had a fantastic day orienteering at Ragley Hall today. Excellent grounds to provide a great mix of terrains and difficulties for new and experienced orienteerers. Hope this can become a permanent fixture on the calendar!

Ragley Hall built in 1720's south of Alcester in Warwickshire. A 21st century country estate with farm, gardens, woodland area and a sawmill. In the grounds there is a adventure park with a maze for the kids where you can have a picnic and let the kids play safely. Very reasonable entrance fee.

We visited during the Bank Holiday Weekend whilst the Classic Car Show was on. Weather was overcast with occasional light rain but this didn't dampen our spirits! Kids and those young at heart adults amongst us were kept entertained with the Adventure Woodland area and maze...lots here to while away a few hours. The Gardens are extensive and magnificent and... We visited here on Good Friday, weather was fab and we had packed a picnic. Plenty of things to do, we walked around the gardens and stables. We were lucky enough to see the falconry display and got to find out about the birds. Tree top assault course was enjoyed by young and older!! Maze was lots of fun too.... More
