Having seen a free open weekend advert I decided to take the family, the day before people had however been cueing or turned away due to vast number maybe similar the day I went but was there early. Great parking, adventure playground with a play maze - children well happy even on an overcast Sunday. The Hall itself - well... More

My family and I went here for Mother's Day. Entry price of £9 per person, which includes a tour of the house was great value. Only problem with the guided tour is that it was up quite a few steps at the front of the house. There were no ramps for disabled people or prams! Which was frustrating for us... More

It's the gorgeous grounds that make Ragley Hall worth a visit. The house is good though nothing beyond the ordinary in stately home terms. On the day we visited only a few rooms were open and we were out again in about 10 minutes. A lack of guides or literature about the history of the house was disappointing. We did... More

If you like walking or if you've got children then the grounds and play equipment at Ragley are great. However, the cafe within the house is disorganised chaos - five staff all beautifully uniformed but without a clue. The coffee tasted revolting and was lukewarm. People next to us were still waiting for food that they ordered ahead of another... More

This is a very good and well run stately home. There is plenty to do for the whole family especially on a nice sunny day as there is an adventure park. The house is worth seeing especially the fresco which although modern (1980's) is quite special

Our family were looking forward to a fun day out. 5 adults and 2 children under 5 years old. We queued on the dual carriageway for well over an hour in two cars. On reaching the entrance a man was stood in the layby waving cars on. Not a sign in sight to say it was closed due to popular... More

I took my granddaughter to Ragley Hall yesterday and, even though we arrived at 10.40 a.m., we were queueing. I believe the Ragley Hall staff were taken completely by surprise by the sheer number of people who turned up. The children's playground was made good use of by my granddaughter who met a couple of her school friends there. One... More

Big thank you to Ragley Hall for hosting a free admission weekend 07/03/15 , my husband and I took our 2 year old and 5 year old children and had a wonderful day, we knew it was going to be very busy so used common sense and got there for opening at ten am and had no queue parked easily,... More

Our family went along to take advantage of the free admission yesterday. To say car parking was an issue is an understatement, we arrived to find it was so busy they had completely closed the car park and were forced to park 2miles away and walk. This was far from ideal as we had a young toddler in toe. However... More
