Ragley has been, and remains, the family home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford and manages to retain it’s family charm despite the thousands of people who visit each year. The House itself stands majestically in well-maintained formal gardens within beautiful ‘Capability’ Brown parkland. As well as being architecturally stunning, the Stables house an impressive collection of carriages really bringing to mind the extravagance of times past. The Adventure Playground provides a challenging experience, which includes the 3D maze, climbing frames, trampoline and swings – all in a safe and supervised environment. For the more energetic, we recommend the Woodland Walk, a journey through Ragley’s 400 acres of picturesque parkland and woods. At some point on your visit you are bound to see at least one of the fascinating sculptures scattered around the estate – these are an accession to Ragley from the Montgomery Trust. As well as being a great family day out, Ragley is the ideal venue for many corporate events with several rooms available for seminars, dinners and meetings. Ragley also plays host to weddings, celebrations and charity events. « less

The grounds and adventure playground is brilliant. lots to do climbing towers and slides, zip wire, trampoline, climbing wall, and a brilliant maze. There is a lake where you can hire boats which the kids love doing. You can spend the day just in the adventure playground area with kids and picnic it was a brilliant day out would recommend.

16/08 we attended the 'Battle Proms' at Ragley Hall and had a wonderful time. Traffic was a little heavy getting in but there was well organised free parking and we were lucky with the weather, so picnic conditions were ideal. We didn't use the stalls that were selling food drink and entertainments but they seemed of good quality and more... More

An absolutely fantastic evening. Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of room to "set your stall out" for picnic. The music was great, the fly over of the Spitfire was something we will always remember. The fireworks display towards the end was brilliant. It did come a little chilly by 8.30pm but we were prepared with scarves and blankets etc! Has to be... More

We went to the evening proms and fireworks do at Ragley - another WW1 centenary commemorative event - and had a ball. Lots of people there, mainly the more mature sort, past making lots of noise who were there for the noise coming from the orchestra. The Spitfire fly-by was a treat of course. A great improvement on some other... More

My aunt is registered disabled and has problems walking, when we arrived is was very quite due to the poor weather, there was no visible sign for the entrance, so to avoid all the stairs we went in what would have been the servants... We arrived in time for the 11 am tour of the house. I have to say I thought it one of the best guided tours I have ever had. A lovely mix of information and the house worth seeing and very interesting. Lasted about 50 minutes, cost £2. Fantastic value for money.Coffee on the terrace enjoying the splendid view. Had... More

On driving into the grounds all cars queue to pay at a drive-by kiosk. I bought tickets for both house and gardens. We then drove into the car park. We walked up the steps to the main entrance of the house where we queued. Looking ahead I could see that the young lady at the desk was repeatedly having to... More

Spending a weekend away nearby we decided to visit the Hall on Sunday. Found from website that it was closed most Saturday's for weddings. (This seems their priority). The car park attendant couldn't tell us if the house was open and few signs that it was. Got the impression that they wanted you to use the grounds not view the... More
