We were on an eight course golf trip through Ireland. Played here twice over three days. Course and experience were excellent. Great caddies, superior pace of play and very welcome environment.

Set along the coast in Portrush, this is the quintessential links course. You can walk to it from town, probably because a hundred years ago it was "just" a town course. The terrain here is spectacular and challenging. It's no wonder Northern Ireland has produced three major champions in the last few years. If you're up this way you must... More

Having played almost every great "links" style course in Ireland, Portrush ranks upon the best of the best. One of the few courses that has an available driving range as well. If you pay for the championship Dunluce course then you can also play the valley course for an extremely low greens fee & the valley course has some wonderful... More

Played this course on a recent trip to Ireland with a group of 16-everything it's cracked up to be. Upcoming British open here is well deserved. Enjoyed every second playing here. Ran like a high end golf club from top to bottom. Caddies were wonderful. A word of warning though-if you want a true caddie experience, ask for the older... More

This is a wonderful links course. A long history of play going back to the late 1800's. Beautifully maintained with some holes that are truly spectacular and some that are just plain difficult.

This is without one of the best links courses that I have ever played with not only terrific holes - not one was disappointing - but matchless views too. If you are a visitor and hire clubs, I has a set of virtually new Titleist irons ans woods and a brand new Scotty Cameron putter!

We travel to Northern Ireland every "even" year and visit this wonderful test of golf each time. There are two courses, the Dunluce, which will hold a British Open in the future and the Valley course to the west. Both are fine facilities run by the same people but the Dunluce links costs a premium and is a bit harder... More

Played both The Dunluce and The Valley in September 2010. Both courses were in excellent condition and an enjoyable time was had by all. I guess my only criticism is that the media in the UK (and local pros) 'hype up' The Dunluce. Glad to see that The Open will be returning. Hopefully some other courses in that part of... More

Played the valley twice on Friday, then Dunlace twice on Saturday- Dunlace is everything that you would expect for a course this high on the world rankings- you need to be able to create shots, high, low, left right, and be prepared to be disapppointed when a great shot ends up in the junk or pleased when a skulled shot...
