Ranked number 6 in the world, has hosted the Irish open & is hosting the British open in 2019. The course is in pristine condition, golf carts / caddys are available (for a fee). There is also the course pro & the pro shop. A very good links course.

My wife and I visited the Royal Portrush Golf Club. Even though I didn't get to play, we visited the Pro shop, the club house and purchased some merchandise. Took a picture of Rory's 61 scorecard that he shot when he was fourteen year old with a four handicap. We did get to watch some golfers tee off on number... More

I only visited the Pro Shop, as I was not in town long enough to golf, but the course looked top notch. The Pro Shop was well stocked with a fair selection of course branded & athletic gear, although you may suffer from a wee bit of sticker shock for some items. I do hope to return to play a... More

My husband has always wanted to play this course and on our 3rd trip to Ireland we finally made the time. The course was everything we hoped it would be and more! Stunning views from the course! Great staff! The highlight of my husbands trip!!

Service staff were very good as we're the pro shop staff. Members were quite friendly and helpful. Course is outstanding, Dunluce links, caddies are generally very good. Will be great to see the Open there.

We thought the cost for Dunluce was far to high. We settled for playing the valley course instead. A tough but fair test and at £47 much better value. The standard of the course is without question. Maybe one day we will empty our wallets and take on the Dunluce.

Although expensive course to play it should not be missed. The fairways are narrow and the carry over the rough long from the tee. We were lucky to play in perfect conditions hardly any wind and sunshine. We hired electric buggies which was a good idea. A game never to be forgotten.

We booked 6 caddies for our group of 8 weeks in advance and confirmed a few days before.. When we got there for our game they only had 4. The 2 caddies in our group were called at the last minute - they only lived a few minutes walk away. The caddies in our group carried 2 bags each -... More

Royal Portrush Golf Club is rated #15 in the world by Golf Magazine. Golf Digest is a bit more picky, ranking Royal Portrush a lowly #17 in the world. Considering that there are over 34,000 golf courses in the world I don't think I'm going to quibble with whether Golf or Golf Digest is correct as I and seven of... More
