This castle doesn't get the recognition it always deserves. Been here many times as a child and the history behind it is fantastic. You can almost visit every part of the castle other than the old dungeons. There's a small shop at the entrance of the castle and a free car park. only £4.00 entry but that is all for... More

Kidwelly Castle does not get the publicity of others but is a nice well preserved castle with a lot going for it. Its small enough to see quickly but good enough to learn a lot. Free car parking and a small shop.

This castle is really worth seeing; it has plenty to explore and you can go up to the top of some of the towers. A nice place for a picnic too but please remember to put rubbish in bins or take home with you.

It`s a Castle. we visited it when it was quite and really enjoyed ourselves exploring. There are information boards explaining the rooms and different parts of the site.Nice afternoon out. Great little cafe at the Castle Gatehouse. ( Not part of the Castle itself).

Visited Kidwelly Castle today for the first time, and it was well worth it! The Castle itself is a little hidden but find your way to Burry Port and Kidwelly and its gem of a castle is nearby. The castle itself had a number of chambers you can enter and they were reasonably well preserved. The , setting was excellent.... More

A beautiful castle in the middle of a lovely village. A small entry fee but worth it to see a taste of history. So many rooms and places to explore. Lovely setting for a summer picnic.

A great place to visit with families and to imagine life in the past. Good to explore for children. Safety rails and barriers placed appropriately but very young children must be supervised.
