Great historic site! Large well preserved castle Absolutely fab and definitely worth a visit for any heritage fans. So many rooms, really high towers, grassy areas, information plaques, walkways. Very reasonable entry fees Small shop Toilet facities. Car park is small so be prepared to walk up from the town! No food facilities nearby but try the Pemberton Arms in... More

Despite being the best preserved kit seems to be little known but it is a really fun castle to explore . Accepts dogs and can easily spend a few hours there. Shop car park near the cenre of Kidwelly with cafes and nice walks.,

An absolutely fantastic castle, near-complete stonework and imposing. It sits on a river and the whole effect really gets the imagination going. Very small car park but more parking a 5 minute walk away.

Part ruins, but still nooks and crannies, dungeons, parapets etc, where you could go if you are sure footed. I'm not so good with heights so my grandson didn't get to see from the top which was a pity because there were some views to be had from up the top. Would recommend, well worth a visit.

We came to the Castle on a birds of prey day, fantastic location with breathtaking views, accesible for wheelchairs in the most, brilliant clean toilets and facilities and a lovely gift store with very helpful staff even when busy, a must, i will certainly be returning xxx

This our first visit to Kidwelly Castle. We were initially impressed by the free parking outside. The price was reasonable as there were lots of rooms and towers to explore. The views from the top were stunning and provide you with a panoramic view of the Welsh landscape. This is definitely a great venue for all the family.

Went to this attraction for a day out, without even checking whether it would be any good, but was not disappointed, met expectations for a day out, and not too expensive for a family although like all these types of attractions would be nice if it were cheaper especially for larger groups. A large castle with alot of the original... More

Lovely walks in and around one of Wales' best preserved castles. Well worth a visit - views from the walls are excellent
