11 people and our dog hired a narrow boat for the day. What excellent fun opening bridges, hopping on and off at our leisure all day. We took a picnic and planned a pub in skipton for dinner after returning the boat. We had never done this before but were given lots of instruction before setting off. Brilliant day made... More

A nice way to enjoy the views of the Skipton countryside. The captain sprinkled witty humor and musical interludes into our audio announcements. Staff was friendly and the ride was relaxing.

We enjoyed a 30 minute canal ride along a short stretch of the canal in Skipton. This was very pleasant indeed and our guide was very informative about the canal and the local history. Lovely scenery too. A great way to see a more unusual view of Skipton.

I booked a 3 hour Pennine boat for a group of 40 friends for my birthday and all the guests said that it was one of the most successful parties they had experienced. The buffet meal was very good and they supplied an excellent wine at a very reasonable price. Sue and the staff rose to the occasion, providing an... More

Great day out for all the family. My first time on a canal boat but was very easy to handle, everything was well explained by friendly staff before setting off. We went towards Leeds which was a nice stretch with some bridges to operate, made it fun for my 2 boys aged 6 and 8 to help their Grandad open... More
