Nothing is too much trouble and we all have a wonderful and memorable trip. We bring along our key board and sing the whole way there... More

On Sunday I took my granddaughter on the santa barge .I was most surprised how dismal the inside of the barge looked, some coloured lights and anorexic tinsel did little to relieve the gloom . There was nothing to look at outside and nothing to do inside but sit and wait to see santa. The atmosphere was very humid and... More

Never been on a barge (narrow boat) before. Decided to rent one for a couple of hours with 3 of my children. (15,10,10). We had a great time. After a detailed but not onerous safety briefings, we were off along the Leeds Liverpool Canal from Skipton. My children operated 2 locks on their own and we had a great time.... More

We chose the one hour trip with the on board commentary by Dave Spikey..it was fantastic ,amusing ,entertaining and informative . It was an hour to remember, comfortable seats and hot and cold drinks available. There is even a loo on board. This is must do activity when you visit Skipton

Nice little boat trip round skipton. People were friendly enough and nice to see some of the sights from a different perspective. Not the longest boat ride in the world but had a pleasent experience.

I wished to book an 80th birthday treat so rang and left 2 messages over 3 days but received no return call. I went in person to the office to find it shut 20 minutes prior to the expected departure at 11 am and again the phone diverted to a prerecorded message. I did find the office finally open at...
