The water is low by the ending of the raining season which makes the rafting more like floating. It is still an ok experience but not an adventure. The closest to an adventure is the night I spent on the two day rafting tour. The maitress they give us is dirty and filled with bugs and spiders. We received no... More

Dear Sir, It seems that you have been visiting many countries, different places, doing a lot of activities ....so this trip might seem boring compare with some of your experiences and your expectations. You are right, the rapids are quite mild in November for experienced rafters (class 2-3) and it's important to let them know.(this period is rated "medium-low" in... More

Fantastic! Guy the owner was lovely and seemed genuinely excited that we were doing the 2 day trip as opposed to the 1. When we went the water level was rated as medium. Its the end of the wet season and also hadn't rained for a few weeks. That being said, for me the level was perfect. The water was... More

I did the two day rafting at Thai adventure at the end of the rain season, but the river was still pretty high and had good rapids that gave us a lot of fun. The landscape on the river is wild and beautiful. At night we slept on a camp that is almost worth the trip: great food, our captain... More

We went on this trip in early September in Pai, myself and my boyfriend has never been rafting before. We were taken for breakfast which was basic but ok and then given the safety instructions fitted with Jackets hats and paddles. We then had a 2 hour drive to the start point which as it was in Mae Hong Son... More

Guy, Mike and his team not only offer an amazing white water rafting trip but also a truly unique wilderness experience. We were a family of 12 including 6 kids aged 7 to 17 and everyone of them had the time of their lives. We were lucky, the water was just right, but even so everything about this trip was... More

I booked a one day trip with my friend. The trip ended up being 4 people plus our guide Boo (unsure of the spelling). Everything from getting our gear plus breakfast in the morning to driving to the start point went without a hitch. The rest of the day was great fun; Boo was very entertaining and knowledgeable about everything... More

We did the two day rafting trip in June 2014 and were very disappointed. When we booked in the shop in town we specifically asked what grade the rapids were and we were told they were grade 2-3 so we paid for the trip. When we were picked up the next morning the first thing we were told was that... More

Dear rafters, sorry for this missunderstanding; you have been told that the river was at low level (check also our website: "seasons & water level" : http://www.thairafting.com/info/info.php) and the trip was mostly "a wonderful jungle river trip through a wildlife sanctuary with some white water class 2 to 3. (more than 2, less than 3) Please, watch the pictures shot... More

The Pai River was beautiful and the guides were great for the most part.   Outside of that,  the trip was pretty disappointing.  The water was to low and we were constantly stuck on rocks or paddling with our oars on the river floor. There were no class 3-4 rapids as described - not even close. On day 2 were... More
