Beautiful beach shared between public and Ritz-Carlton hotel guests. Very calm in the summer but waves in the winter.

In addition to the long stretch of beach, there is a grassy picnic area. There are life guards and decent restrooms & a showers to get all that sand off on the way home. Have seen turtles close up, whales and dolphins further out. This park provides a perfect day at the beach. I am a frequent D. T Fleming... More

This is a beautiful park and is tucked away down past the Ritz Carlton. The Xterra atheletes have their swim portion of the games in the ocean off this beach. Beautiful.

We decided to go to Fleming beach and glad we did. We went snorkeling and saw some different types of fish. The water was pretty clear and you didn't have to go that far out to see the fish and with you kids that was a bonus. There was a lifeguard on duty and they also had restrooms on site.

The waves were strong; the beach was narrow, and it wasn't relaxing. Of course it was crowded but not as bad as Waikiki.

This beach had lots of wood and sticks on the beach. It is surrounded by pine trees. The water was more murky and the waves stronger. We saw 8 turtles near the rocks. Parking and bathrooms, showers. Most people were local and lots of families.

Fantastic place to swim with life guards. There are also bathrooms, which is very nice. If you head all the way to the southern part of the beach in the very early morning hours, you can watch the sea turtles eat breakfast by the rocks. Beautiful sunrises too :-)

What we loved most about this beach: It wasn't crowded, & it was totally family friendly. It isn't lined with hotels. Instead, it's lined with trees behind it, so it feels secluded in a sense. Bring an Eno! It's a beautiful area! The sand is soft & cool to walk on- unlike some beaches on Maui. There are some rocks... More

Overall very nice beach to swim and relax. Occasional strong shore breaks just as many other beaches on Maui depending on tides and wind.
