you need a car to get there but it is worth it. There is a lifeguard and washrooms and the beach is nice, although it was quite busy when we were there. Good body surfing for experienced people, decent undertow so be careful. Take your own food and beverages though, nothing available.

There can be rough surf but there is a lifeguard on duty. Great beach with ample parking. Plenty of shaded areas. Picnic and bathrooms available too.One of the best beaches on Maui

Beach is at the base of the Ritz-Carlton and extends a long way. Beach is really quiet, but very windy at times. The beach is beautiful and the water is clean, but not nearly as inviting as in Kaanapali

We found this park on our way back from seeing the Blow Hole. Unfortunately we didn't have boogie boards at the time or otherwise my kids would still be in the water!!!! Nice beach, not too big. Waves are good for body surfing or boogie boarding

The day we were here the water was rough and I would guess loved by those who surf to for us none swimmers though. Still worth relaxing on the beach and watching and listening to the surf.

Love this spot! Great beach away from tourist mania.. Beautiful spot.. They also have showers and bathrooms. Bring a picnic lunch and be prepared to hang all day. Walk up onto the bluffs and get a great view of the turtles.

This is a relatively mid-sized to small beach for Hawaii, but the waters are clear and the sand is very thin, soft and sun bleached. The people here seemed friendly and there were facilities and lifeguards. We were here around 9:30am and the parking lot was 3/4 full, so I imagine it gets far busier in the later hours. We... More
