Beautiful public beach. Amazing views and great sand. Gets crowded so get there early, it's warm on the beach by 9am.

I loved this out of the way beach in Kapalua. It's secluded and small and offers the perfect respite from the busier and more popular beaches in Maui. The water was fairly calm that day with some waves but the current can be strong at times so be careful. We finished the day watching the sunset off one of the... More

This is a great beach for boogie boarding as the waves break twice and it is fairly easy to catch a wave and ride it in to the shore. The beach attracts people of all shapes, sizes and ages, and it is also popular with local surfers. You must be very careful though not to go out too far because... More

This beach met my needs perfectly for my dad. There are two handicap parking spots as well as bathrooms with handicap stalls. The walk to the beach from the parking lot is low (no steps) so my dad was able to navigate it very well. There are also lifeguards so I felt comfortable having my dad out there. He did... More

Small beach but huge waves and deep sand make you feel like you are on the other side of the world....which you are.

We went to Fleming Beach on a suggestion from a friend. We are so glad we did. This beach has surfers and boogie boarders. It also has 3 lifeguards on duty. With all the action you can imagine that its a great place to people watch or just sit and read a book. It has no concessions so you have... More

We stopped here for a picnic lunch on a tour of west Maui. Nice tables, BBQs if you want, and a great view of the beach. The water was pretty rough the day we were there so we didn't go swimming but we enjoyed watching others catch some amazing waves with boogie boards. Life guard present, washrooms and shower. Parking... More

We initially drove past the entrance to this beach and noticed the big waves as we came back from the north. Parking was easy and free as we got there before 9am but when we left around noon the lot was full. The waves were a little bigger than desired but nothing we couldn't handle. The surfers were out and... More
