While it is a lovely beach to sit on when we went out to snorkle we found the visibility limited and saw little compaired to other beaches we visited.
This is a very nice, full featured beach park. It's close for the Ritz folk, of course, and there are plenty of facilities. There are showers, restrooms, food and drink nearby - lots of options. There don't seem to be boards (SUP or surf) for rent, nor any of the other rental bits - bring your own. Of course, all... More
This is a very nice beach with picnic areas and restrooms (a rare find). Areas for shade. Nice sandy beach, not too crowded when we went. Lots of parking spaces. Waves aren't too big so a great place to bring younger children to play in the waves. Bring your chairs, towels, boogie boards and have a great day at the... More
All of the beaches on Maui are public - some feel more public than others based on location (side of road versus resorts sitting on them) and parking. Location wise this one is in between - it is easily accessible from the highway and has a good parking area, but it is also connected to the Ritz Carlton property (resort... More
Just North of Kaanapali perhaps a whopping 10 minutes is this nice tucked away gem. ONLY # 10 on the Maui TV channels best beaches I'd have to wholeheartedly disagree. You get shade and tons of areas to lounge, restrooms and water to rinse sand off wherever it got (ha,ha). We went two days; one day surf was very mild... More
We typically do not go back to beaches we already been or seen but this one deserved another look, stayed here for about 2 hours and swam, even saw a turtle swam next to us, so how cool was that, windy so ensure youre not facing the water when you're trying to get a tan coz you will eat sand... My husband really wanted to go boogie boarding so we went to DT Flemming Beach Park as we heard it has the best waves for boogie boarding. I wanted to give it a try myself but found that the water was a bit too rough for me and got knocked around too much. The beach has lots of debris on... More
We went here in the morning to snorkel. The beach was not crowded. It is windy though and surf could be a little rough
Nice sandy beach. Plenty of parking. Has shower and toilet facilities which is a big plus. Only downside was a group of rowdy people who visited on Labor Day and thought they 'owned' it but didn't interfere with us and you can get that anywhere. I am a dog owner and lover but fail to see how letting your dog... More
D.T.Fleming beach a stones throw from the Ritz Carlton. Nice place to relax and swim. I was told that sometimes you can see humpbacks from the beach.
