This is a great beach and very easy to get to. Lots of parking and space on the beach for family to hang and play. This is definitely a beach for all ages and all type of fun.

I could body surf here all day and not regret the sunburn! I loved this beach, the waves were the perfect size for amateur boogie boarding. There's a life guard on site that helps to give peace of mind just in case one of those big waves bites you the wrong way. It was a little crowded but there were... More

Although the day we went it was very rough and nobody could swim this seems like a nice beach with a park, toilets and also seemed to be the one of the few beaches we visited that had lifeguard services. It is quite a big beach so on a nice day without any swell would be fabulous to visit with... More

If you stay on the road north for ten minutes, you will come to an overlook where the wave are real big and the rides are long. Photographers, rent the biggest glass you can and bring your tripod. You will get images that look awesome. In the winter, the late afternoon sun can cause a dynamic range that is hard... More

This was one of the many beaches we visited while on Maui. We can honestly say that we were not disappointed by any of the beaches we visited. We were amazed by the cleanliness of the facilities at the beaches considering how many people use them.

Nice park with usually ample parking. The beach is clean and there are life guards . Surf can be rough. Snorkeling is OK

GReat beach, decent washrooms, although water was out when we were there so only portapottys available. One day, easy waves for playing in, next day, 6-7 ft waves perfect for attempting to surf. Lifeguards on hand so I didnt' have to think about trying to rescue anyone:)

Beautiful, I watched the Hawaian Competition departing from there. Good for walking, etc but my personal preference is for smaller bays, since my preference for Kapalua Bay.

For a landlocked girl from the prairies, this was a brilliant beach to have fun on our boogie boards. There is a nice rhythm to the waves and they're big enough to have fun but not big enough to terrify. Also not insanely busy.
