They have bathrooms, outdoor shower, picnic area, lifeguard, nice beach area, and lots of turtles! There were people snorkeling on the reef area. Sand nice and soft. We went didn't discover it til days before we were scheduled to leave and made an effort to go back the next day. It was on the flyer as being "one of America's... More

DT is safe for novice boogey boarders and body surfers . . . it is patrolled by life guards, has shaded picnic tables, and is close to the Ritz Carlton Beach Cafe (walking distance).

Nice white sand beach. Lots of parking. Gentle surf. Rocks at right hand side of beach made for interesting view and great snorkeling. Saw sea turtles up close to shore!

We searched for multiple beaches to watch the sunrise (that was on our side of the island) and this was the best. We didn't want to drive far or a long distance. We found some sea glass here at low tide as well! There are showers and restrooms and a lifeguard stand. It's a very nice, big beach.

This is nice quiet beach that is out of the typical area where most Maui visitors go to. The beach is nice overall, however the water is usually rough and waves could be a bit powerful depending on the day. Keep in mind that the area of Kapalua where the beach is located is known to be the windier part... More

we stayed nearby at Napili point so our drive over to Fleming Beach was a short one. We enjoyed the shade near the edge of the beach. There are lifeguards and bathroom facilities and a good size parking lot. We brought chairs, lunch and drinks. Wonderful beach day!

We were staying on Kanapalli Beach so D. T. Fleming Beach did not compare but nice anyway. Good for those staying in the area. A lot more rugged than Kanapalli.

We went here to boogie board - it was just OK. It was very windy that day so rather unpleasant but still a nice beach to visit though just based on a quick visit I prefer the beaches of south Maui.

I've visited D.T. Fleming Park by curiosity, to see the beach that has been named America's Best beach in 2006. I've found a beautiful stretch of gold sand and blue ocean waves rolling along the shore. It's a place for waves play and ride. I've been lucky to see a full school of dolphins only 150 yards from shore. The... More
