We stayed at the Kapalua ridge villas on the Kapalua resort and we were blown away by the beauty and ideal setting. Our villa was bigger than our house, had two nice porches, a nice size kitchen that came fully stocked with cooking utensils, gorgeous master suite and nice dining and living room areas with a view of the ocean.... Great destination for the golfer and non-golfer alike. The scenery is breath-taking and the place is peaceful and serene. We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, and it was one of the best hotel experiences ever. The pool and beach (as I heard from my pool/beach-going companion) were great. The golf course are world-class. Good but a little pricey but Hawaii is a pricey place to holiday so no real surprise. If u like Sushi they have one of the best Sushi Restaurants on the Island.

The Kapalua Resort is a very large complex of resorts, homes, condominiums, golf courses, and restaurants. It is very well maintained. It is verdant and lush because of its geographical location on the island of Maui. When we visited and stayed in Kapalua in August, it was windy but the rain was minimal. It is quiet and laid back enough... More

Kapalua is still one of the most beautiful palaces in the world (especially when the weather is nice). The beaches are some of the best on Maui, there are several great restaurants and the golf courses are very challenging. Condos are excellent the Ritz Carlton is beautiful and the new Montage is amazing.

This is an idyllic resort, especially if you are a golfer. Facilities & amenities are second to none. Self catering or eating out there are plenty of options & the beaches are amazing. Best place to be on the island.

This is a large complex with several beaches. The water was a bit rough while we were there, but normaly I think it would be so nice for snorkling. The condo was clean and everything well stocked for our stay. The view was amazing and even saw some whales in the distance while having our coffee on the lani! We... More

Beautiful area! We researched this ourselves and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful spot. Very reasonably priced and lots of spots to snorkel, swim and hike with the kids. Every morning we woke up to views of whales breaching from our lanai. LOVED this place! One thing to know before booking is they have a $25 a day resort fee... More

The Kapalua resort is like being transported to heaven. The trees and all landscaping are perfectly manicured, the resort has shuttle service throughout and there is a fabulous spa. Perfect beaches ( Kapalua, Oneola, D. R Fleming beach) and is very near Honolua Bay, a surfers paradise and the perfect spot for snorkeling. The Honolua store is a quaint place... More

This is one of our annual Christmas "must-list" stops after lots of morning snorkeling , a huge tasty local "plate lunch" with the blue collar hard working Hawaiians at the General Store. Yum !! Bought some expensive Olawalu (sp?) sandals, in brown stuff sack even, but they strap-pullout failed, just more landfill, in less than a year with no company... More
