We went as it was a birthday party. We will definitely go back for a visit but I wouldn't book a birthday party. We thought the food was poor for the money paid

I viseted to day on the 22nd of July and I thought it was Brilliant day out for the kids. The farm was very clean considering it is a farm after all, the inside was also vey clean and lots to do for all kids. The food was lovey and we didn't have to wait long I think the prices... More

Me and my family were staying at the haven campsite, we had seen the attraction ducky's park farm and decided to visit. My children loved it. They had so much to do, feeding the animals and doing brush a pig was there best, really good for a family day out. The food service was cheap and quick and had a... More

Took a trip with a young animal mad son, but probably wouldn't return. Choice of animals was limited, no horse or cows which are his two favourite farm animals, although nice touch to have some of the younger goats free to interact with guests. At the same time, having a notice to inform of free-roaming animals would be beneficial for... More

I am sorry that you thought are choice of animals was limited but we are a farm not a zoo and as such are only allowed to have certain things. We do have a shetland pony and donkeys on the farm so i am sorry if this did not please him. We do not have cows as they tend to... More

Went on the 17th July, good food, friendly staff and everything to do is ok for young kids but isn't that much to do on the whole though. Walby farm at carlise is a better option

I am glad your children enjoyed your visit to the farm and that the staff were helpfull. It is difficult to cater for every age when we only have 9 acres of land to work with, unlike Walby who have a lot more land and bulidings. I have tried to do the best with what we have and I know... More

This was our second visit & to be honest we had a good day out but were disappointed as it looked quite run down. The kids enjoyed bottle feeding the lambs & feeding the goats. The soft play area was good & drinks were a good price. The children found it hilarious being attacked by chickens whilst we were having... More

I am sorry that you thought it looked run down. We have had some issues with maintenance staff but hopefully these have now been sorted. Unfortunately the weather does age things quickly and we try to keep up with this as much as possible. I feel that the price we charge to get in is fair and also includes VAT... More

we went on our way home to be honest just to see what it was, and glad I did too. My one year old son loved the bus and running after the goats and chickens. The food was delicious and only took about 15 mins after order to be ready. Some of the bad reviews say it was filthy, im... More

Thank you for your lovely review. I am glad that someone finally understands that we are a farm and not a sterile hospital. We do have animals that go to the toilet and when its warm they can smell. We try to keep all areas as clean as possible but it is dusty with loose soil and hay will blow... More

Duckys was quiet as it wasnt the school holidays just yet which was perfect for us. Small farm with more play areas than animals to behonist however plenty of stuff to do for younger ones i would say if your child is 6-8 or older there is very little to amuse them. Great indoor area. Good car park. Good outdoor... More

I am glad you enjoyed your day on the farm. Yes our farm is only small but we try and fill out your day with interaction activities. Our gift shop is only small but has lots of choice ranging in price from 50p to £9.99. There are plenty of farm themed gifts, aswell as other stuff, to appeal to everyone.... More

This was my 2nd visit and I was surprised by the poor manners by the young staff at reception. My only grumbles are with the staff. The hand washing stations had no blue roll to dry your hands and there was no staff around to ask. Seeing school aged staff cleaning tables and serving was off putting to question issues... More

I am sorry that you experienced a problem with the staff on your visit. Unfortunately I was away at this time and did not authorise that member of staff to be on reception. This matter has been dealt with and will not happen again. However we do use young staff to serve and clear tables so they can gain experience.... More

We attended in July 2014 with our two kids. It was quiet, over priced, dull and very tired looking. The other visitors we saw looked disappointed too. Apart from a very friendly baby goat that followed us round for a bit looking cute, the place was not very interesting. Even the staff seemed a bit disinterested. It seemed like somewhere... More

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your day out. I feel our prices are reasonable for a day out and they include VAT. We do have a continuous maintenance program but the weather does make the wood fade. I try to provide a programme of activities where you can join in and interact, but if you choose not... More
