- staff were unpleasant from the moment we entered, and when we found out they didn't have a card machine and that we had no cash, promptly kicked us out, as we couldn't buy anything. Is that fair?

Me and my boyfriend hadn't been here before and thought we'd pop in for a bit of lunch. Place is clean and tidy, good menu offering anything you fancy really. Anything from a bacon sandwich to a burger or just a coffee. Would definitely be back, there seems to be a lovely lady there with glasses (probably the manager or... More

We were visiting Truro for the food fair and decided to eat here. Both meals were severed differently to the menu i.e. cheddar instead of brie and no sour cream or guacamole. We left both meal partially eaten, would not go back. The only plus was that both of the coffees were good.

Went shopping in Truro and wanted somewhere nice for lunch, everywhere seemed to be busy and a long wait for food. Finally found somewhere quiet, which was Vanilla, we know why it was quiet now. We ordered paninnis and had to send them back as there was hardly anything except cranberry sauce in them. We definitely will not be returning.... More

We stopped here for lunch with the family. Great with children children, even had small knife & fork for 5 year old. Home made burgers were excellent. Staff were friendly. All in all a great friendly family lunch experience. Would definitely return.

Really great homemade beef burgers. I'm afraid I can't comment on the rest of the menu because I have kept returning (when on hols in the area) specifically for the burgers! So all I can add is that the house salad dressing is also delicious, the coffee is good and the service is friendly.

I have been here many times in the evening as they do wonderful cocktails, however i didnt know they did food in the day; then one sunday we were walking past and the hubby spotted a menu. The food was well cooked and served quickly (however there were only three other couples in there at the time). Good price and... More

Very happy with our lunch here whilst visiting Truro. Unfortunately the item I had really wanted wasn't available, and so I then had a few questions about the other items I was interested in (medication/food interaction and allergy issues), and the staff were very friendly and happy to help even though they weren't able to answer all questions. Plus the... More
