We were looking for a last-minute easy trip to a Christmas market that we had never been to before, and found it here! It is a short drive north of Stuttgart, and it is lovely! Buses & Entrance: The main parking lot is far away, but there are ample shuttle buses there and back. We were a little intimidated when... More

Great view of the countryside, vineyards, neighboring towns and farms. I was there for dinner. I have to say the food is OK but the beer is very good and the atmosphere can't be beat!

Beautiful medieval castle on top of a hill covered with fruit tree orchards and vineyards. Rooms in the castle can be rented out for weddings or other private functions. Their setup is very porfessional (all kinda of information is offered in an extensive leaflet) but also very "business-like" and un-personal. It is not possible to visit the inside of the... More

The view and the location of the beergarden would get a very good. But due to the kitchen which is only average and convenient food I give "only" average mark. Most important for me is the wonderful garden where you always find a seat, as well with multiple people.

Unfortunately the weather was chilly and the castle was closed. But we enjoyed the spectacular landscape. Hope to return in summertime.

We were there for a wedding, and I must say that this is an awesome place. The views are lovely. The fact that it's on the very top of a hill means that the scenery looking down are awesome. We didn't get to try the food but the menu at the restaurant looked and sounded great. I do look forward... More

Great location to view some of the most beautiful scenery in Germany. The cafeteria style food/restaurant was fantastic. It had everything from salads, to burgers, pizza and fish, and the typicallly wonderful Germany beer. If you aren't hungery just grab a beer and sit at one of the many picnic tables or grab a chair and enjoy the scenery.

Great location overlooking the surroundings and real X-massy feeling thanks to 45 stalls with local produce and crafts.

We had lunch here and a tour of the castle. Amazing to visit. Friendly staff. Worth the trip to see Stettenfels Castle.
