The weather was lousy(very rainy) so we did not get a chance to take walks outside but the museum itself was great-well developed. We enjoyed the short Scotty documentary. A great place to stop for a few hours or stay the night at a nearby inn.

This is a short detour off the #1 highway and worth the visit. It's a small museum, but there are good displays and guided tours every 30 minutes. There is no fee to enter but donations are accepted. As others have mentioned, it is smaller and doesn't have the numbers of dinosaurs like museums like the Royal Tyrell Museum. So... More

First of all the signs to find the museum were very clear and direct which is something I cannot say for many of the attractions in Saskatchewan. A very well laid out museum with many interesting exhibits. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. I like the fact that you can wander on your own, take a guided tour or... More

The museum has excellent exhibits and active research center behind glass where you can watch the paleontologists at work, cleaning, categorizing fossils. Modern building, nice artchitechure, reasonable fee.

A friend and I were driving through to Calgary from Ontario and decided we needed a change of scenery from the hwy so we ventured to the Red Coat Trail. On this trail one thing we were most excited about was the Ghost Towns and T. Rex discovery centre. To our disappointment we pulled up to the discovery centre only... More

The T Rex centre is not open in the winter time but is a must visit in the summer time. Scotty the T rex is very impressive.

A chance to view the t.rex is well worth the visit, but the other fossils and displays, as well as the programs for kids make it a special stopping point. It is situated on a hill overlooking the Town of Eastend and is very picturesque.

Spent an hour at the museum, could have easily spend three, many activities to do, which we didn't take part of, good videos and a lot of dinosaur displays to keep the kids interesred. A fantastic drive and Eastend is a beautiful town in the Frenchman river valley. Worth the drive.

The new 40+ foot skeleton of Scotty the T Rex is now up in it's full splendor in the main gallery. It is something you can not miss, takes your breath away as you stand under it. Since the Royal Saskatchewan Museum has taken over operation of the centre there are many new and revolving exhibits. So if you have... More
