This is at a private home where the owner, Theo, has a beautiful garden with hummingbird feeders, and hummingbirds, everywhere. He gives an entertaining and informative talk about the little birds and lunch and beverages are served. It is a very nice way to spend a few hours in Trinidad. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

Intimate experience with the humming birds. Very knowledgeable about the birds. Well organized. Lovely way to spend a half day.

It is very personal not too crowded. You are allowed to take photos. The light lunch included was delicious. Very informative an interactive. Must do once at least. Good thing to do with foreigners or family visiting.

On our short visit to Trinidad my son took us to this wonderful place. The journey it self through steep winding mountains roads was breathtaking. But the climb after the silk tree would call for greatest driving skill. You see great many variety of hummingbirds up close and personal. It seems there are 13 varieties in Trinidad. These birds can remain... More

This is really one of the nicest places in Trinidad I've been so far. It's a private home with a beautiful garden with lots of feeders, so you really see lots of hummingbirds. Theo is a great person who knows everything about these amazing birds. Don't miss the slideshow, is absolutely worth it. If I could I would give 6... More

I am a born and bred Trinidadian and only heard about this place a month or so ago.... I was not keen on making the trip (as I 'had' no interest in bird watching) and was essentially dragged along for the ride. Well, this was my OMG moment thus far for 2015! I have travelled extensively and have no reservations... More

This is worth it for Theo alone. He is so passionate about the hummingbirds. It was a fantastic afternoon with loads of birds. Theo does not lecture you he just talks about the birds. Fantastic

A bit difficult to find but well worth the effort. The owners are able to give very detailed directions, which are necessary as it is not well known to the locals. In terms of seeing humming birds, you will not be disappointed. However, this is a private home, with a fairly small garden, opened to visitors by an enthusiast. There... More

What a haven! Got to hear the buzz of their wings, enjoy their company and have tea. Learned all about them from a very knowledgeable host too

The opportunity to see and photograph so many hummingbirds within arm's reach was quite a treat. The highlight of the afternoon though was Theo's enlightening presentation which gave some little known facts about Trinidad's hummingbirds. We were touched by the clear love he has for these spectacular creatures and for spreading the word about them. And the refreshments provided by... More
