Really nice desert course, I played of the blue tees, about 6000yds, wide fairways, well positioned traps and true greens. There are tee positions to suit all handicaps. Guys in the golf shop were very helpful as was the starter and all the staff in the restaurant. We will be going back, only downside was my wife scored 45 points... More

Nothing to dislike. The course is terrific and challenging. Worth the time to play their golf course. After golf their restaurant is a nice place to eat and tell the tales of the golfing experience.

Enjoyed, maybe because I was a single that was paired up with the nicest snow birds from Indiana. It was a fun course and a fun day. Thanks Gold Canyon!

If you plan to golf over 2 days, then the Sidewinder golf course is a great warm up to Dinosour Moutain golf course. It's a little more wide open, flat, and the greens are straight.

This course is a difficult as we want to play. Lower rating is based on length but the hazards are there for you to visit on almost any hole. Beautiful condition

We recently played the Sidewinder Golf Course at Gold Canyon. It was a beautiful course. Staff was super friendly. It was both a scenic and challenging course to play. It was definately worth the drive from our condo in Scottsdale.

Fantastic views. Club house food nearly not edible. Frequented the main dining room years ago before they "remodeled" There is nothing that absorbs sound all hard surfaces in the dining room and conversations are impossible. Can't complain about the poor food to each other!!

Sidewinder is probably and less dramatic of the two golf courses at Gold Canyon yet is still challenging and scenic. Course was in excellent condition and staffed well. Great snack bar outside and the bar, dining room, and patio were inviting. GPS in my cart was flukey . The would have switched out carts but because we were fighting daylight... More

The Sidewinder course is definitely the stepson to the more spectacular Dinosaur Mountain course, but it shouldn't be discounted. It may not have the spectacular views and the crazy elevation changes, but it is a solid, fun, challenging round of golf. My friends and I played both courses in one day and on the Sidewinder course we got hit with... More
