Nice place for take a brake after Florianapolis. It looks like Brazilian Caribbean. Price for a boat isn't so high for paradise trip. Be careful at sunny days. You can easy burn your skin just for half an hour. Fantastic water and white sand. You must spent here at least one day for feel better Brazil.

Very nice place to spend a half or full day. You take the boat there (I recommend the fast boats, from Campeche beach, which are more expensive but a lot faster, much more fun and won't make you sea sick), and on the island you will find one nice beach facing Florianopolis, very clear waters, maybe a crowd on full... There is no place like that around Florianópolis. It took me a while to go there because everybody complains the boat is quite expensive but I guess it's a very fair price (around R$60) considering the preservation of the island. The environment is amazing, very relaxing and there are friendly guides helping around in case u need.

During the high season it can get a little crowed, but it is a place that worth to visit and stay for a day. There is only one way to get to the island which is using the boat. You can get the boat from 3 different places, the closest one is right in front of the island, the second... More

I took a boat to go to Campeche Island and it was awesome. The island is beautiful, amazing and with wonderful water. It takes one hour from Barra da Lagoa to get there by boat and if you are taking the boat, please take 30 minutes before a medicine called DRAMIN so you will avoid sickness. I felt really bad... I fully recommend a visit to Capeche Island if you spend a few days in Florianopolis. The island is located just a short boat ride off the coast of Campeche beach and has by far the most stunning beach (with calm, crystal clear water) in the region. An absolute tropical paradise. There are several ways to get there. We took... More

This is one of the obligatory visits for those coming to Florianópolis. Etnographic riches and one of the most beautiful scenaries in Florianópolis. Yo8 can only reach by boat. There boats leaving from Paraia do Campeche and also from the vellage of Barra da lagoa. It is only open in the Summer months.

A short sail from "Praia de Armação." The island is beautiful. Some rocks have ancient drawings carved into them. There's also a small sand beach. Bring a jacket for the way back-it gets cold on the water.

You can take a boat from Campeche beach. It's a bit nauseating , but OK! The water is clear and you can do some snorkelling. You also can do some trail to see the other side of the island with some archeological things. The food is not good, and you must take some food with you.
