Good view of long and wide river here. There are a lot of food and snacks to buy for souvenir such as unique rice (Khao Leum Pua) that was said that's yummy till you forget husband!. Convenient parking.

This is a floral garden with a couple of Dutch type windmills, Most flowers were not in bloom when we visited, but a notice at the entrance saying (in Thai) that visitors would be asked to pay 20 baht to take photos. Kaeng Khud Khu is about 5 kilometres from the centre of Chiang Khan,heading out on the road to Pakchom. Its a scenic part of the Mekhong where a beach area develops in the dry season.There are stalls where you can buy souvenirs,food and drink.....also the same at a higher level above the Mekhong,too.
