Worth a look if you have no idea what a Nipa Hut is, but not much else really. The car is one of Manuel Quezon's and was last restored in 2009 you can get up close to it but not get inside

Interesting to see where the 2nd President of the Republic lived. Though there was not much to see, it was cool to see the house's interiors, as well as his sleek, black, presidential car.

The house of Dona Aurora Quezon was a let down! Most the things inside were replicas or just a collection of random things in order to make the place more authentic. I've seen better houses that were restored. The place cannot compare to the old houses of Bacolod. Just the outside facade is worth seeing and not the inside.

All travelers to Baler should include this to the places to see. Quite convenient to visit, when trying to see baler museum and baler church.

I saw typical nipa hut the first time i visit this beautiful country Philippines...but not like this one since its the home of the former Pres. Quezon..., cool place..half cement/hallow blocks...the other half wood/bamboo... the house reflects how rich filipino lives before and how they choose where to put up thier house. (I've noticed most prominent families in late 30's... More

Visited the birthplace of a former President of the Philippines, Manuel L. Quezon, in Baler Aurora. It is a beautiful and quiet town with not much entertainment except surfing and swimming in Baler's beaches. But let me describe Quezon's resthouse first. It is a small house made of wood , with a nipa roof, and old furniture made of narra... More

Quezon's house was literally in the neighborhood. We were surprised to be told to just enter the house on our own convenience--what a breath of fresh air! There was no guard or caretaker at that time so the people in the street told us to help ourselves. It was beautifully preserved. The best part was the very vintage Presidential limousine... More

Rest/vacation house of the Quezon family. Located just across from Baler church and municipal hall. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go inside the house (as it wasn't open when we went). Best to check with your tour guide on opening hours (and entrance fees, if any) if you really want to check the inside of the house. You may also... More
